Duh, he's already been an All-Star. If you can read, I'm saying he wasn't "born" as a result of this series. He will revert back to form. Is that so hard to understand?

He's a 4-year college player who flat-lined his first 2 years in the NBA. One hot-shooting, impressive playoff series against a weak Rockets backcourt and pathetically clueless coaching staff doesn't change that.

It's very obvious you haven't watched him play much. I've liked the Blazers as a 2nd or 3rd team for a looooong time. I love Lillard's heart and clutchness and don't want to tear him down any more just to educate you.

Fellow Rockets fans, I honestly don't believe t_mac1 intended to troll with his OP. Call it temporary insanity. I think he gets it now. To each his own, I don't lump him with the other guys we all know and tolerate.

I really like his game and poise, but I can't stand his angry sneer whenever he does something awesome. "I'm so good it makes me angry!" I don't know, just rubs me the wrong way.

Agree. No need to hate on the guy. Mo Williams? Sure. But Lillard handles himself alright, and i was reading he's the first player to average 25 5 and 5 in his first playoff series since Jordan and Lebron did it.

He's clearly not on their level, but the guy has brought it in his first playoffs. He was nails yesterday from long range -- not just the last shot.

Lillard had the highest win shares in the series.

He also never forced anything and didn't make a single dumb decision that I can think of.

The Rockets made a dumb play every three trips down the court

I can only hope that like Westbrook and Rose, his athleticism will eventually turn his knees to mush.

Any muscle in Howard's body could have ended Lillard's life at this particular moment, should he have chosen to do so.

this. I was extremely impressed with his fourth quarter last night. I think I remember one bad attempt which I think he was forced into by our defense. He let the game come to him for most of the series without forcing anything.

A lot of hatred is homerism. I get that he kicked our collective butt. But give the dude some credit. He did great and I respect that. I don't remember him doing any douchey things toward us.

You don't have to hate the guy, sure.
But threads here praising the guy and hoping the Blazers win the chip?
Why on Earth would you want the guy that beat you up to succeed in life?

Also how long do we have to wait for Harden to grow?
Lillard turned that team around in 2 years. In his first playoff series he demolished us.
    Where is Harden?
