Terrence Jones can not be a starter on a championship caliber team.

Jones has bad fundamentals. Doesn't know how to play man defense. Doesn't box out on rebound. He relies too much on natural talent. I don't blame him. He shouldn't be played so much.

I agree with your point about young interior players having a learning curve on how to be physical. However, he does have two veterans(Asik, Howard) to learn from and most of what he was lacking in my opinion wasnt knowledge it was effort....and thats inexcusable.

Rockets need upgrades at the PF AND PG spot. It puts too much pressure on the team when you're getting nothing from those positions. I love Beverley but he can't hold a candle to the guards in the playoffs. You can't be an offensive sieve as a starter in the West.

I posted earlier that it was a lack of effort that made his play inexcusable. Also stated that he was indeed a role player. His lack of experience is no excuse for the lack of effort.

I will now remove my head from my ass.

He's a young player and that's why good coaching is so important.

    Please tell me why TJones

Please tell me why TJones was guarding the inbounder? He needed to play center field!!! Super low Bball IQ he did nothing the entire game! He made Trob have a 6-0 run

T Jones wasn't even pressuring the ball at all. He was just jumping up and down. At least try to get into his grill and make it actually difficult for him to inbound the ball.

Too bad there wasn't a true 7 footer on the bench...

so foolish..what pass was he going to prevent standing where he was?? he needed to block off the middle of the floor, at the very least force a throw to the sideline where they have to make a tougher 3 like Vince Carter did last weekend vs the Spurs.

In college Calipari would've probably been there to tell him what to do.

That's on McHale to have told them not to guard the inbounds passer. Or if he did and he wasn't listening, then tell like crazy for him to go guard the three and leave the passer.

Not sure about whole series, but that stretch in the 4th quarter tonight was critical and let the Blazers back in it.

just pin it on Mchale, 99% of us would agree, tjone is a very young role player, not the smart kind.

hate his defense, and his terrible decision making in wanting to score. i get he is young but he should be a bench player not a starting PF...
