    Representing the All "Where-are-they-now-and-who-cares" squad...

    C - Thomas Hamilton
    PF - Jim Peterson
SF - Chris Jent/Larry Robinson (was there any difference besides color?)
    SG - Rodrick Rhodes
    PG - Eldridge Recasner

    Blue,

Jim Peterson deserves a lot better than to be lumped in with this group.

Not only was he a very good back up but he did an exellent job filling in at power forward when Ralph was hurt.

And don't forget with out him we are probably never able to trade for Thorpe.

How is it majority have Francis as the point guard on the all-time Rockets team, but he is still hated on this bbs?

When he got here he had a dunk, where he would go under the bucket , grab the ball w/ one huge hand and do a 270 and carrey everyone w/ him to the basket. Also was a very smart player off the ball in offense.Helped Hakeem's stats a lot by his dirty work. The sad part is he is almost forgotten.

although one of my favorites, But too many big men to include him.

How can nobody mention Charles Jones? He definitely should be mentioned if we are going to mention Chuck Nevitt for god's sake. Does anybody remember when he drove the baseline on the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and somehow threw down a dunk on David Robinson? Jones was about 83 years old when he came to H-Town. I kind of winced whenever he went out there, kind of like if your dad tries to play bball with you, because you are so worried that his knees are going to give out at any moment.

    c- hakeem
    pf- barkley
    sf- pippen
    sg- drexler
    pg- calvin murphy

    * these are the best players the rockets have had at that position over what they did for their careers, not what they did for the rockets

    - if it is the all rockets team due to their contributions it would be

    c- hakeem
    pf- rudy
    sf- robert horry
sg- drexler (no 2nd ring w/out him)
    pg- calvin murphy
