A few nights ago, I am watching a movie on on VH1. I am watching this little movie called Empire Records. Everybody loves Empire Records right? Anyway, I watch it and it's the scene where they just caught that boy that was stealing cds. They take him up stairs and start questioning him. At the same time, Rex Manning's manager wants to quit, and they pan back and fourth to her. If you look behind her, you can see this blue conical shaped thing with teeth. Basically, what I see is a Rocket Ship with those grinning teeth. This movie came up in 1995. One year later, The Rockets come out with the smiling dildo flying around a red basketball. So I am thinking this. The Rockets designer saw this from the movie and decided to borrow it.
Well, the agency that designed it is based in Houston... they've done nice logos for a variety of big companies, like Fujitsu. Really good stuff. The main guy actually didn't like the "smiling dildo" but the Rockets liked it.
Hey Stalker, why dont you post a pic of this flying condom you are referring to so all of us can compare it ot the current flying dildo the Rockets are using and come up with more extreme logo conspiracy theories.

Ya know, I also think the movie was filmed in Houston too. But I am not quite sure. I have to go find some experts.
