ESPN will blame him and be all over him. He balled out this series. I think it's clear that the finals appearance was the true James Harden.

Dwight Howard is the Rockets' Andre Johnson. All heart, all hustle, all charity off the court too and then he gets robbed by his teammates of any potential successes.

 

Dwight is great, but how many years he got left?

 

Feel down right bad for the dude with the media flogging he's now going to cop for the next few months.

Nothing is his fault.

Came up big defensively. Came up huge offensively in the clutch.

Now it's going to be a circle jerk of all the nba 'know it alls' criticizing his move here and that he's a loser etc etc - 80% chance they never even watched all this series either - because paying out on Dwight seems like the 'in' thing to do.

We would have been swept if it wasn't for Howard.

 

I feel so bad for Dwight. Exact same feeling I had for Andre Johnson when the Texans choked away their opportunities all the same.

 

Howard lived up to his billing. Harden, man, has disappointed with his lackadaisical attitude and terrible defense. Lin's turnovers are infuriating, but at least his errors are not from a lack of effort.

 

Does Dwight take back the Ferrari he gave to Parsons?

 

Clearly one of the absolute best players in the NBA and a true superstar in this league. May he retire a Rocket!

Dwight was fantastic in this series, can't say it enough.

 

Agree. I have a new found respect for Dwight. I'd like to see him get about ten of Harden's shots per game.

 

As opposed to the numerous stats that prove otherwise? Or maybe, ya know, he was feeding the guy that was killing it in the post? If Harden starts jacking shots when Howard was dominating I'm sure people would hate on that too. No win scenarios.

 

He's matured. Certainly our superstar.
