The Lakers have already lined up an impressive list of candidates. No reason the Rockets can't compete with them to get the best talent possible. Who should we go after?

I don't think there's a basketball coach out there that doesn't want to coach this team.

    Best SG? Check.
    Best C? Check.

All we need is to tweak and get some defense, and we're contenders.

Hollins could be good - had a twin towers of his own, with ZBo and Gasol, and had a defensive PG in Conley. That much mirrors Howard/Asik and Bev.

Literally anyone but McHale. Great guy, maybe the worst coach in Rockets history.

Just need a defensive coach. They don't have to be a good offensive minded coach. With these players they can just keep the same streetball offense they have now as long as they actually run a play at the end of the game.

TBH, McHale is coming back next year as the coach. However, if he does leave I want Thibodeau or JVG, simple as that. I am leaning towards Thibs because what this team absolutely needs is a defensive mentality. We are lacking in that area. I love JVG and always have as a coach. I felt like he was wrongly ousted when we fired him here. We could also bring him back and I would be extremely happy.

Hahahaha. And I don't think Sloan will ever coach in an organization he has rivaled with for so long.

I wonder how all the other coaches feel about Mchale after that last play.
