there is zero possibility of fiber optics out where you are. The only thing for you to do is to invest in satellite internet. Direct TV offers it, and some other companies do as well. It's good for surfing and downloading, but terrible for gaming. This is because it sends the data in wave flashes, not in a constant feed, so the game will have very laggy times. If you dont play games, but you are big into downloading and surfing, its a good investment. Remember, the farther you are from a big city, the crappier the telephone lines become.
Just want to warn you that the satellite provider Direcway tried to screw me out of money for over a year. I called their customer service over 10 times for a $100 they erroneously charged me but none of them were EVER helpful. When I finally got my credit card refunded they tried to rebill me for the same charge and went so far as to notify a collection agency to get me to pay them again. Do not use direcway/Hughes...just a helpful tip.
Liberty and Sever...thanks guys. That is the kind of advice I was searching for. I will be using dircway I guess and thanks for the tips.
Chance -- as an FYI, you got some publicity this morning on 610AM, when Lance was singing a bit of the 'Inside Skinny with Steve McKinney' song. He botched the words slightly by saying, "He's not fat, he's not thin" instead of the correct order. You'll have to give him a verbal reprimand for that.
