A guard shooting 66% from the line?? Now that is shady!

Shut up Sura until you can hit at least 75%!

I was at the game and I'm sure they played the music while Sura was shhoting a free throw. I had to get someone o explain the significance of the "Slim Shady" reference, because everyone was laughing except me and I'm not familiar with Eminem.

I think it was just a mistake - not worth complaining about.

That wasn't a mistake. Maybe the sound guy made a mistake and played the music at the wrong time. But making the same mistake every time, I don't think so.

Sura was the ONLY player for whom any music (disparaging or no) was played when he came to the line. I've don't remember hearing disparaging music played during free throws this year or last year. Our sound guy was delibrately screwing with Sura, for the first time I can remember.

I thought it was hilarious, but I don't think that sort of thing should be allowed.

    jamcracker,

I'm not saying that playing music was a mistake - playing it during his free throw was the mistake. That only happened once.

really? I acutally don't remember music during a ft, but I'm probly wrong. I'd say it was an error in judgment on the part of our sound man, rather than a typo-style finger flub. I think he was being over-the-top rather than clumsy.

(very stupid of me to try to figure out the internal mechanisms of the Rockets sound guy [IMG])
