Excellent article on NBA referees for Portland / Houston series

    I hate it when people avoid sounding confrontational and instead seek to appease both sides, so they can feign intelligence and maturity. It's not intelligent. An intelligent person would look at the facts and recognize certain truths. There have been lots of bad calls on both sides, yes, but the Blazers have been favored in shooting foul calls and in a few calls at points that really mattered. It's not a massive difference, but it's a noticeable one and very hard to not get angry about when just 2 of those calls have created a 4 game swing (1-3 instead of 3-1).

    Summed up as: Calls are going our way. Why Complain?


    What a crap piece of writing! The college game is refereed in a far better manner... what about that?

    Refs should just call the actual game and let the players play it out.

    As I'm reading the article linked in the op I'm thinking this has to be from a Portland source. Sure enough I was right. When the NBA comes out and admits mistakes on two game changing calls that cost the Blazers the game then they can write all the articles they want about how the reffing has been bad for both teams. Until then they should keep their mouths shut.
