    Despite what some think -- that, statistically, turnovers don't really matter -- they do. Especially at the end of close games.

    Turnovers can be defined as any of these: poor shot selection due to little or no ball movement, bad, ill-advised and/or telegraphed passes, not finishing around the rim, dribbling into trouble, dribbling when you shouldn't, not getting back on defense... add any others you can think of. Turnovers in waiting are: being out of rebounding position, shooting when your teammates are NOT in good rebounding position, not following your own shot, complaining about a call instead of getting back on defense, etc.

    I hope Asik has better hands in game 5. He seems to bobble the ball similar to Yao. Yao could shoot free-throws well but had trouble getting loose balls.

    From this perspective the Rockets have had more turnovers than the official TO stat.

    Keep these to less than in the first 4 games and I like their chances.

    (And I hope Daniels has a good game. Williams comments are a bit like Barkley's comment... "Chucky who??")

    We didn't have a 9 point lead in game 2 with 2:47 left in the game, we might have been down by 9.

    Well 4 of our 5 starters are avg. 40 min per game, fatigue could be a factor late

    I think that's why Parsons avg. 2 points in the 4th Quarter, dude is playing 45 min. A game

    What are you talking about? One could argue that he plays his worst when his back is against the wall.

    Their backs have been against the wall game 2, game 3, and game 4. He has yet to have one good, efficient game.

    You're right! My mistake. In Game 2, the Blazers led by 6 to start the 4th Quarter and never fell behind again.

    The Rockets got to within 3 with 28 seconds to play, but ended up losing.

    So this game was not an example of a Rockets 4th quarter collapse; it was an example of the Blazers gradually gaining control (the Rockets were up by 8 after 1st Q; the Blazers tied by half time) and then the Blazers maintaining a 6 point lead in the 4th Quarter.
