Looks like Durant is going to win the Dirk award.

“Sometimes you have to be a decoy out there. I’m fine with that,” Durant said. “If I want the ball I got to go rebound it and bring it up on the break. I trust my teammates with whatever decisions they make. I just got to do better for them.”

“We had some plays where he has to space the floor,” Brooks said of Durant. “We were giving Reggie some opportunities. We did that in the game before and we were able to get into the paint and create easy opportunities. They did a good job of guarding it.”

Remember the time when Rudy used Hakeem as a decoy to give Chucky Brown some operating space?

I disagree, Miami has faced this style of team before, Indiana the past 2 seasons. In fact, those Indiana teams (2013, 2012) were even bigger, more talented and just as tough.

at least this settles the KD vs Lebron debate, which was silly to begin with. People really need to do their own analysis instead of buying into the r****ded American media.

With that offense, please. Miami can grind it out. OKC can't. To beat Miami, you need both great big and PG play. Memphis only has one.

Spurs can and should have beaten Miami b/c they have both.

I would disagree for one simple reason... Memphis can score. Indiana can't.

I'm not saying it's a done deal, I just think Memphis' inside/out game and slow, physical style of play makes them more dangerous than Indiana.

Whatever happens to us, it won't be as bad as what just happened to OKC.

Yep. Big differences. Memphis hits teams where they are the weakest now a days, in the post. Two all-star bigs on the floor together. Miami had a hard time with two near all-stars who aren't even close to being as a good as Gasol and Zach offensively.

It would be hilarious if Durant wins the MVP award AFTER OKC gets eliminated in the playoffs.

That is why I said that he would win the Dirk award.

That is the danger you live with when your game mainly consists of jumpers.

Looks to me like Durant is the modern day David Robinson. Phenomenal regular season stats but much reduced post season stats on poor efficiency. Only difference was Robinson's defense was consistently great. Except against Hakeem of course.

This playoff year is completely up in the air this year in the western conference -- I know OKC felt a sinking feeling when they got the Grizz in the first round. Win or lose they were in for a battle and it's not looking good for the Thunder.

Every series in the west has been/ is a battle -- crazy year.
