    WOW!!! Good stuff guys.

    Just to let y'all know, I love my son, and I wouldn't trade him for anything....... EVER.

    But.... My son now calls me "Jim" (not "dad, or Daddy")

    My Ex-wife remarried the day of our Divorce. ( which is why my son stopped calling me daddy, and started with "Jim")

    I was never aware of the divorce until it was finalized.

    I now pay nearly $1,000 a month in child support.

    My child now lives in Tennessee, and I have to still pay over $1,000 just to get to see him. (Not to mention how much I've already paid.)

    I'm NOT saying don't have children! Even with my nightmare, I'd do it again vs. not having him here.

    BUT, it is a HUGE responsibility on BOTH partners. Just because you're infatuated with someone at 20 doesn't mean you and her are well to do with a child.

    I state this with meaning. ALWAYS protect yourself first.
