    Well guys,

I just finished a project and don't feel like starting the next one. Although it would help me out tremendously to get a headstart. Anyway, what websites do you guys visit to kill time at work. I know this has been done before, but I'm too scatterbrained to scroll through.

A few of mine (that have been exhausted in the past couple of days):

    cc.net
    theonion.com
    gnr bbs
    homestarrunner.com
    cnn.com

Thanks in advance. Oh and my employer thanks you as well.

A little outdated but still pretty fun. Click on famous places in the top right corner or just type in any address in the US.

snopes.com. There are TONS of urban legends there. Just about anything you've gotten in your e-mail box that you've wondered "I wonder if that's really true?" is listed there. There's also tons of old wives tales that have been around for years, like the good ole' "10% of your brain" myth, the "don't swim after eating" myth, and tons more....Plus, there is new stuff added all the time...

Of course, it would help if you spelled it the correct way. :D

Yeah, that was cool. I got Rochester New York. I wonder how the Rockets/Texans/Astros/Longhorns coverage is up there...

Yeah the weather is great, the entertainment is great yadda yadda yadda, but the people are not.
The people in Houston are wayyyyyyyy better than people in LA.

Go right ahead. Hope you're making at least a half a million a year. If not, enjoy being part of the poor.

this site is great. once you get to know the writers style youll love it even more.

    Something Awful

the front page, awful link of the day and the legal threats are my personal favorites.

coma, homestarrunner is awesome. ive been a fan of it for a bout a year now i think. cant get enough. "burninating the countryside...burninating the pesants.."
