With Barnes being relegated to a much-reduced bench role, he could possibly be available if the offer it right. would you have Chandler Parsons on this team or Harrison Barnes?

Parsons easily in more than a few ways. However it wouldn't shock me if Morey tried to trade for Barnes this Summer as a potential small ball 4, or Parsons replacement if he commands more in free agency than they want to pay.

Harrison is horrible this year, he has no more confidence.

Being moved to the bench after GSW signed Iggy messed him up.

More valid question might be Parsons or Batum...

Except it's not worthy of a question, since we can see the result for themselves. They have very very similar stats, except Batum does it in the 2nd half and overtime, hitting critical shot after critical shot, and he plays defense. While Parsons does it in the first half, disappearing in 2nd halves, and plays little defense.

Of course, Parsons vs. Barnes isn't really worthy of a question right now either. There is no evidence that Barnes plays meaningfully better defense than Chandler, which would be the only area you might prefer Barnes.

The only reason it is even close is because Barnes is 4 years younger than Chandler and could grow into a similar player that also plays defense.

Easily Parsons. Barnes has been a scrub almost all year. Parsons is still very overrated by some on this board, however.

Harrison Barnes had a mediocre regular season last year, but then played really well during the playoffs. A lot of analysts said that was his time to mature and grow up and develop into a great role piece.

This season, Barnes has proved all of those analysts wrong and has played pretty horribly.

Parsons- and it's not even close.
