I don't care if Tony Allen is the best perimeter in the league. Kevin Durant is the MVP and is supposed to be unstoppable. There is no excuse for this at all.

Brooks, Del Negro, and McHale, all were carried by talents, one is already gone, wondering who will be left after this year. McHale might be the better of the three actually....

    that's the excuse we're using.

lebron lit up paul george last year and he's just as good as tony allen.

the difference is lebron has a post game and durant doesn't

coaching allows you to win even if your stars don't have good games. do KD and WB have to do everything offensively?

face it. brooks is carried by talent. giving your stars the ball and telling them to do all the work isn't going to get it done.

    Not when they're up 3-2. ;)

I wonder if they're looking to trade Durant(and/or Westbrook) in OKC and saying his game is not made for the playoffs?

    Doubt it. :)

That said, that whole former trio is playing like **** and deserve blame/criticism.

    ...

Speaking of coaches, what are the chances we have four playoff coaches fired? Mark Jackson, Frank Vogel, Kevin McHale and Scott Brooks.

Conley made some huge plays saving the team too though. The Westbrook steal was his only turnover. He made beautiful assists to Mike Miller for 3s. He also scored in OT when the Grizz needed it.

    Situations aren't even comparable.

Absolutely. He has like 6 inches on the guy, not including his arm length which makes his shot unblockable.

Do you watch Miami? You think Spoelstra is a good coach? Umm... no. That team outalents people. Now with Wade getting injured, you can see teams creeping up on Miami. B/c Spoesltra is just as bad as Brooks.

    The difference is age.

The difference is Miami creates spacing with 2nd options like Wade and Bosh.

Westbrook just drives like a madman and does what he wants, defenses sink.

    Huge difference.

Durant has admitted Tony is in his head. But he was already struggling at the end of the regular season.

you do realize out of KD Harden Westbrook, only Westbrook is making clutch plays, he actually looks like he wants the challenge...I've no clue what's gotten into KD, harden's scrubness has rubbed off oh him or something

Hopefully this is KD's "Lebron's Dallas" series. Have it early in your career and grow from it.

What really scares me about this series, is that if OKC loses out then Morey may look at it and say "hey, the freaking Thunder just lost in the first round too. We don't need to get rid of Mchale right away! Let's see this roster play together next year with him still at the helm!"

they certainly know how to get guys open on the perimeter. their pick and roll sets are some of the best in the league. they move the ball. the guys seem to play as a unit. that's more than you can say about other teams.

Remember when he played the rockets and chandler made him look like the goat?

Rajon rondo would not have made anyone look like the goat.

lin is a bench player, so he doesn't get enough minutes, and he can't run the shoe like conley. opportunity to bounce back wasn't there for lin.

if memphis lost both games where conely made those critical mistakes then he would've been crucified too.

imagine if lin got pick pocketed like that 4 seconds to go. we would've beaten him to death even if he produced.

    that's the clutch for ya.

yeah and its really hard for teams to go against the heat because one or another of the big three can just go off night in and night out. also the way that they're surrounded with shooters makes much harder for teams to guard them
