Messy and disorganized people piss me off. I'm not OCD level though, but damn if you are the type to never clean your workspace/livingspace and there is like trash and **** everywhere I get pretty peeved. I'm not here to judge though, might as well have a random poll for CFers.
There's messy and there's dirty. Messy is things aren't organized, and dirty is trashy. I'm messy. My things will be placed on tables or piles on the floor, but none of it is trash. This is only in my personal space, though. Any common areas, I leave it as I found it.
My house? Borderline OCD cleanliness. Wipe down counters, vacuum, dust, bathrooms, kitchen, all of it. My car? **** everywhere. My 2nd car? Wash it 3 times a month. My office? Depends on the day.
I'm clean, but in a "I hate dirty dishes in the sink and trash laying around" kind of way, not a "please remove your shoes when you come in the door" kind of way.
Carpet in house so no shoes. Room is clean but bed barely gets made. If u cared more for the car it would be crystal clear, but that will be for the new one soon.
I keep common areas pretty clean and orderly, my room is pretty bad unless I expect a visitor in there.
I'm a notch above OCD/scary. For instance, every person I've ever given a ride has said that my cars look brand new inside and outside (with that new car smell). I have them washed every other day. I also keep electrostatic cloths and compressed air near my desk, hand sanitizers and hand vacuum within reach, and I take 3 showers every day.
im extremely messy. like extremely messy, so is my gf so our room is like a disaster most of the time. But I do clean the **** out of the house OCD level every 2 weeks on a sunday. But I know i'll **** it up again in like 3 days which is sad I'm not dirty on a personal level though, as in I shower and clean myself properly everyday
Nah, I just noticed some people really have a huge tolerance for messy living conditions. Doesn't bother me as long as the common areas are clean.
I'm messy. Not dirty, but very messy. OP nailed it with the:"I get my cleaning done in a single day every so often. In between my area is a mess" option. My office is spotless at the moment, but that's only because our VP of HR was at the office yesterday.
My office is half ass clean. I have paper work laying around and etc. The cleaning ladies clean up every night though so it isn't that bad. My house on the other head is very clean. I am super OCD when it comes to my house. I can't stand dishes in the sink, dirty floors, bathrooms, tables, bed. It just annoys me to no end so I have to keep it clean. I wish I could not be so damn over the top about it. My wife gets so annoyed. It is even to the point if she does dishes or something, I will go back and recheck it LOL.
You have to keep your area clean! You never know who's going to show up!... Spoiler I also tell this to my kidz!... ....... ....... .......
I like my house/office clean (i.e. no dirty dishes, keep it dusted fairly regularly, no **** stains on my mancave toilet, etc.), but I don't mind and sometimes even like clutter.
Exactly I'm very unorganized, but not dirty... papers everywhere, unfolded clean clothes laying around, items sitting on the floor that need to be put away, etc. No food or trash laying around though. Shower everyday and wipe my Pujol with a wetnap or shower after each #2 session. No streaky draws overhere.
