Wife pregnant, about to lose job and going for Unemployment...

    I'm in the radio/broadcasting business (admin dept.), I don't know what to pawn...

    I'm good with gfx and creating sales presentations.

    this is what credit cards are for...she lost her job...certainly their income will grow as he gets older...and we're only talking about $400...put that on a card with about 6% interest, and you're not talking much in interest charges. in fact, it's likely he could have that paid off in 6-8 months.

    credit cards are bad when used irresponsibly...but they can be a nice and valuable tool in situations like these where the concern is temporary. when he loses his rent payment and moves in with his parents, he'll have no problem paying off this credit card.
