Geeze Rockergordon, Moochie for KG is a gimmie, but if you're asking that they throw in Hudson too.... I just don't see them going for that one. We might have to throw in Tito Maddox for that one.

 

i hope this is all true! im not saying that CourtCourt is making up stuff and sh*t. all im saying is that, CourtCourt has unreliable and weak resource. but, i would still think about this one 50/50 coz i know Brown and CD have been really in contact. no offense CourtCourt! dont get me wrong. anyways, thanks fo the scoop!

 

on fox sports net, they showed a taping of an interview with CD earlier today, and it was at the airport.....i think this poster has a legit story.....2 days of talking with LB, WOW

Two days of talking could mean that they are discussing specifics... that's the only thing that makes sense to me. You can only talk philosophy for so long.

 

I would love to know why, when anyone new (even someone who isn't entirely new) comes in here and tries to share something, he's immediately berated.

Does anyone here think CourtCourt (or htown) DIDN'T run into CD? And if he did, wasn't it worth posting the conversation? If YOU'D run into CD wouldn't YOU post it?

With all the incredible amount of repeated threads, same ones over and over, why oh why would you give this guy sh*t for sharing an actual encounter?

If he did get outta CD that they met for 2 days, that's ABSOLUTELY news. And some of you just can't be as excited about anything else as you are by trying to shut a guy down while he's trying to get a scoop (however small) and just share it.

Remember back when we all appreciated people doing stuff like that? I do. But just freaking barely.

I think you should re-read the thread. He got much more praise than discouragement imo. Can't all be roses, esp with a bbs community this size.

Wow. Either people edited or I was hallucinating last night. I was almost definitely hallucinating. Also got a hairpin trigger for instant bashing so maybe just one or two set me off. Apologies.

CourtCourt: I'm here plenty, but I don't read every thread. 60 posts since 2001 would have been easy for me to overlook. Apologies to you too and thanks again for sharing the story.

 

Brown looks much younger than 62 though. But I think he will retire due to his need to be with his family.

 

CD said in the Chron that he was now going to take a much-needed rest because he hadn't slept in a couple of days. I suppose meeting with Brown is what he was referring to. I don't get why they'd do such marathon sessions though unless they were hoping to have a guy within the week or something. The Rockets don't even need to be in an incredible hurry since we don't have a first round draft pick. Brown may be pushing the time-table because other potential teams need a coach well before the draft.
