How did Parsons contribute positively, he scored 0 points in the 4th Quarter(and OT) and gave up 11 point to batum in that time frame I'll do it slow Parsons 0 in the 4th and OT Batum 11 in the 4th and OT But that's fine, It's fine that when the game is close batum has outplayed Parsons in 4 straight games That sits well with you So if LeBron scored 30 in the first half and scored 0 in the clutch and the team lost the game that would be alright Lin in the 4th 1-3 = 4 points 1 ast and 2 TO Parsons in the 4th 0-3 = 0 point 2 reb 0 ast
That's laughable... You don't know what you talking about. McHale is infatuated with Bev/Parsons and overusing them big time. McHale is WAY overplaying our starters @ 40+ mins.
Jeremy Lin is a basketball player. His job is to play basketball. It's the reason why he works out and practices. Everyone wants to keep their jobs. McHale is a basketball coach. If he's not happy with how Lin is playing it is his job to bench Lin.
Lin fans, say whatever you want to say about bringing Beverly and James Harden to the discussion. But having the ball with just 30 seconds left in the 4th quarter and have the lead by 2, WHY dribble the ball when you only had to do is hold on to the ball and get fouled??? This game was all on Lin. HE BLEW IT.
LOL look at this overreaction. Lin's turnover was moronic, but it doesn't really matter because this team as a whole just isn't close to second round playoffs material. Why crucify a player for one play when it's obvious we aren't really going anywhere this post season anyway, it's not like it's the finals, we are in the first round struggling to beat a 5th seed due to a variety of bigger problems than just Lin. coaching has been shet, Harden has not shown up, Parsons has been streaky and absolutely garbage on defense. the whole team is out of sync.
Once again its alright that Parsons 0 in the clutch Batum 11 in the clutch So Parsons scoring 23 point in the first half makes up for not showing up on defense and offense in the last 5 min. Of a close game So when Howard scored 25 in game 2 in the first half, but only scored 2 in the second half he shouldn't be blamed either Parsons is avg. 20 per game in 45 min Shooting 43% And 17 of is 20 is in the first half You guys got excuses for every player not named Lin it seems
I'll do it slow. Stats this series. Chandler Parsons 20 ppg, .470 fg%, .333 3p%, 6.3 reb, 1.8 assists, .8 TO's Jeremy Lin 9 ppg, .364 fg%, .167 3p%, 4.5 reb, 4.8 assists, 2 TO's TheLastDope's conclusion: Jeremy is the greatest, Parsons sucks
Arguing with LOFs is like banging your head against a brick wall while getting stabbed in the back and standing on a bed of burning coal.
This reminds me of the shi* we gave Luther head, juwon Howard and rafer. The only difference is that we will talk about Lin's low-lights for much longer than he will remain with us.
Yup bev with his big 11 points in 40 min But bev is playing shutdown defense in that 40 min. Right Well Lillard is only avg. 25/8 Parsons is avg. 45 min. Per game That could be a reason he is 4-20 in the 4th Quarter and OT Good job mchale for waiting till we were down 0-2 then adjusting against Aldridge Good job mchale for running Parsons and bev into the ground and that Lillard and batum are running circles around them in the clutch, because there exhausted
Yup its alright that Parsons is 4-20 in the 4th It's alright that Parsons 17 of 20 is in the first half It's alright that batum owns him in the clutch Our third scoring option shouldn't show up in the clutch, right
Offensively, Lin played terrible yesterday. He looked for the drive when it wasn't there, often burning clock and then passing to a teammate to bail him out (Daniels and Harden). If Mo Williams is defending you well, give the ball up if it ain't there. The critical turnover was more of the same. I think he just tensed up and forgot to use his head. Terrible. Always know where your defender is. Call a time-out. Lin is a very flawed player. As a Knicks fan, he reminds me of John Starks. Sometimes he is the hero but sometimes he is the zero. He does get a lot of hate on these boards and sometimes I believe it is racially motivated and the hate is not warranted. Last night his play was terrible and the hate was deserved.
The difference is that Pippen brought real championship experience, but had back surgery and chemistry problems with Dream and Sir Charles. Lin's biggest impact in this league was that 2 week thing in New York, but in reality he's nothing more than a frustratingly inconsistent, anti-clutch, undependable, cringe-worthy, extravagantly overpaid... aarrrrrgh, **** Lin!!!
Exactly. Lin gave his best, but his best just isn't good enough. You know those guys who try really hard when you play pickup at the Y but cannot help but dribble it off their feet, fall down, start crying and blaming racism. Can't be mad at them, they're trying but don't have the coordination or talent. Fault has to be given to morey/mchale/les and the young boys who are delusional enough to believe in him. Media just writes crap to sell, and they're the idiots buying it
People are upset that despite everything that has gone wrong, that one play was basically the difference between a 2-2 series and a 3-1 hole.
