Can someone on this forum tell me what bev does in 40 min. A game? Slow down Lillard? What Lillards avg. More in the post season than the regular season, not on bev, right guys Bev shooting great ? What bevs shooting 38% and 33% from three in 40 min per game But bev brings that hustle right mchale
Certain plays do define a player or a playoff series. When people think about the Spurs vs. Heat series last year, they remember the Ray Allen 3 that lead to a game 7. The Spurs could still have won game 7, but in the minds of many people the Spurs blew such a huge opportunity in game 6 to win another trophy, that they weren't coming back and win game 7. In our situation, there is an ocean divide between having the series tied at 2-2 and being down 1-3. Huge. That's the reason folks are fuming at Lin. His bone headed mistake can define a player and this playoff series.
If you think this is bothering the fans, imagine how much it is bothering the team. My biggest concern is the fact that players have most likely turned on Lin at this point. There is no way locker room chemistry is ok after a loss like that, especially when a guy like Dwight balled out and will be getting all the blame again.
Bro Lin's fault hardens shoots 33% Lin's fault Parsons is shooting 4-20 in the 4th and OT Lin's fault bev is giving up 25/8 to Lillard Lin's fault coach waited until down 0-2 till try and stop Aldridge
I imagine the players would be pointing fingers at each other not just Lin. The players understand more of what is going on then the fans do. Not to mention the coach isn't making great decisions and blaming it on the players...
But bro Parsons is avg 20 point per game What! Parsons is 4-20 in the 4th and OT Bev is containing Lillard What! Lillards avg. 25/8 Yup only Lin and hardens fault
Just look at the disgust and anger on Chandler's face after Lin's moronic TO for proof of just what you said. Right after the TO after Mo Williams' 3. That is why it puzzles me that Lin has not come out and apologized to his teammates for blowing the game. I can't believe Lin's arrogance. It is mind blowing. How can anyone see the effort that a guy like Chandler put into the game and then not man up and take the rightful blame for the loss. It is pathetic. No wonder Lin had so many detractors.
Yup just like Dwight turned on harden when he missed the game winning shot in game 1 The rest of the team turn on harden after he shot 29% and gave up a key layup in game 2 I heard Dwight cursing Parsons name because he's shooting 4-20 in the clutch
So our superstar and team leader is shooting 35% (27% from 3), and playing his usual horrible defense... but the team is turning on the backup point guard?
Didn't we have this conversation in another thread? Yes, everyone's upset. We could've been 2-2 but are now at 1-3. Yes, Lin costs us game 4. Yes, Lin's recent boneheaded plays drive everyone crazy. If making Lin the scapegoat helps you cope with the loss, fine. If you think I'm biased in thinking this is a 0-star thread, fine. But, if you are a Rockets fan like you said you are, then you know I'm not making this up when I say Lin is not our only problem and didn't cost us the series. And FWIW, had Lin not help us won the RS game against Portland on 3/9 with his 26p off the bench, we wouldn't have won the tiebreaker over Portland, which means we would be playing Game 5 in Portland.
So you're saying Chandler should also apologize for not showing up in games 1-3, and lighting a fire under Batum for saying he's the best SF in this series? You're saying Harden should also apologize for jacking up ill-advised 3s and not care about playing defense? You're saying TJ needs to apologize for failing to hold LMA to reasonable numbers. Just about everyone on the team has a reason to apologize for their performance, so why single out Lin?
I've ask this question 10 times Name me 1 positive Parsons and bev did in the last 5 min. Of regulation and 5 min. In OT? No one will answer the question
