Shandon followed Moochie down the other sideline not advancing any further than Moochie advanced, rather than Rudy having everyone take their set positions. This may be pretty obvious to us all, but surprisingly enough, we haven't seen it last year or this year. So what is the big deal This allows two crisp passes to beat the trap. As the trap approaches, you can pass crisply to Shandon, who then can pass crisply forward (if not dribble penetrate). Without this outlet versus the early trap, Moochie/Mobley must pass over the trap, which is nothing but a lob pass (as dangerous as a skip pass). And who is the recipient of the two crips passes: can we say Mo at the FT line, or Francis in the wing. Watch, be patient; this simple adjustment will kill this trap. MManal, now quit your damn "blaming Rudy into oblivion until he does what I want", and step up like me and tell us what Rudy is doing, not what you want him to do. Shandon can do alot of damage penetrating. Last year I saw some games where he would drive in and get lay-up after lay-up until the defense covered him.....that is a very important factor for Mobes and Steve! ------------------ Miggidy Markell says: 1.
