Considering the intensity of the games, the multiple overtimes, and we had a nine-man rotation throughout the season... shouldn't we have a nine-man rotation in Game 5? Seems like Harden, Parsons, and Beverley are getting gassed out there...
I'm with you on this. Not only are they getting gassed out, but they are playing too carefully because of foul trouble or trying to avoid foul trouble. Houston looks too slow out there. I think Lopez can be fouled out in every game by going through him and keeping a shooter on the 3pt line in case he is able to be there in time to block the penetrator.
Definitely! Rockets are the ONLY NBA team with a steady 8-man rotation in this playoff. (The Bulls are the only other team that used only 8 players in some/most games, and they are exactly in the same bad spot as we are... Coincidence?) Most successfull tesms have used as much as 11-12 players a game. I'm not certain our coaching team is that much better or more expereienced than the coaches in the Spurs, Mavs, Heat etc...
Ya that's what we need more dmo to secure ever loose ball their is I can see it now dmo 16 boards in game 5. Or Hamilton the dead eye shooter from long range with his simple one move of driving right with his Kareem like sky hook. Or Casspi the baller from telaviv come in to shut down lma as he fills in for our pf so he can space the floor and hit every 3 that comes his way. -_-
Yup, but McHale won't listen, he's a stubborn fool. Not to give Garcia / Casspi a burn when Harden or Parsons is stinking the place up is inexcusable. Also Beverley is not doing much most of the time, neither is Lin, so give Daniels some more burn for crying out loud.
