Now that Cuttino is going to miss the Warrior game, its time for Steve "Franchise" to act like it, and take some shots. I just found out that he is averaging fewer shots than Jason Kidd. That is scary to me. Francis should be averaging 20 plus points, and the Rockets will need him to step up to that level in order to start winning consistently. Hopefully Francis can start shooting and scoring in the Warrior game. I expect Francis will be his usual hesitant self, and go 6-10 from the field for 16 points. The Rockets will win by 8. He's takin less shots than Kidd??? That's not too good... Francis has a ton more scoring ability than Kidd does. He needs to use it. This is an extreme problem..it needs to be attended to somehow, someway. Franics nees to suspend the goodwill until after the season is over. If his teamates get upset with him, because he shoots the ball too much, he can always make it up to them at seasons-end by buying a few dances for the fellas while at the Mens Club. But I dont think this is the case...I think this problem can be solved by Rudy and Francis alone. Rudy needs to pull Francis aside and ingrain in him, the importance of shotting the ball whenever theres an opportunity, and never to pass up an open shot, are an oppurtunity to drive, just for the sake of saving egos. Well I don't think Rudy has been gearing the offense around the guards as much lately. I've been seeing a more consistent effort to use the post up game which must have been influenced by Hakeem's words. I'm glad because Mo Taylor has shown he's the talent we all expected but if Steve is gonna score you have to run an offense that suits his style and thats the ISO or the pick and roll. People complain because we run the ISO alot but the only reason other teams dont run it is because they dont have one on one players that can effectively get to the hole like Cat and Steve.Im praying to see Steve jack up more than 20 shots tonight, he must in order for us to win. ------------------
