Why did it take so long to get Troy on the team?

    Either Morey or McHale messed this up big time.

    The kid looks like a real player and he wasted all that time in the D-League.

    He could have had a defined role by now, instead McHale is coaching like a chicken with his head cut off.

    Very unsettling.

    Honestly, I think it just depends on the player. Rookie year Brooks hardly got any playing time with the Rockets even though he was straight up balling in RGV. And to be fair, we had a veteran in Ronnie Brewer on the roster at the time, so having Daniels really wasn't an option until we cut him.

    Morey signed him on February 21st. So it took essentially 2 months for McHale to figure out that he's worth playing.
