George: "Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much."
Some ppl don't have to be so rude and critical, I like some parts of the trades. It was a good scenerio, some ppl need to stop going into threads with the purpose of bashing it, at least be insightful or constructive. Is that too much to ask?
No it isn't. This board is for everyone to post and regardless of how you feel about a certain trade thread, there's no reason to be rude. That being said, this trade blows.
Ok i'll be postive... Noming, I thank you for putting time and thought into making a new post proposing yet another series of wild trades. As constructive criticism this series of trades does not help us as several players you are proposing to bring in do not have potential above what we already have on this team. As we did not miss the playoffs by 20 games I fail to see what such a drastic overhauld will accomplish. We are one good coach and some improved roleplayers away from being a contender. Swapping all these players would be like starting over again as they are not familier with eachother. The new coach would then have three times the work in creating a cohesive unit and trying to convince the players to trust eachother. I also do not support the theory of stockpiling draft picks as this team is already the most inexperienced in the league. We have enough maturing to do. Glen Robison is the only truly veteran player you are suggesting and he is already not all that he once was... no offense, i simply disagree...
