First of all, since you clicked on this thread, you are obviously curious. So no rude "this will never happen dumba$$" stuff or complaining. If you are interested have the decency to either not reply if you hate it or at least post something constructive. Don't just come in here to be negative. I am sure some ppl will ignore this n e ways or try to be cute and use this :) , but it was worth a shot. This is just intended to be a fun read for those who lke to play what ifs.

In this following groundshattering trade that would be a wet dream for all the SF and Cat bashers out there, I have included 9 teams that are either on the brink of becoming legit, underachievers, or just chaos of either attitudes or money. At any rate all these players have either cap problems they need to solve, attitude problems they need to move, or talent at certain spots they need to attain. Here are the following teams and there needs.

Cavs: With King james coming, they can move star Ricky Davis for a pf which they need.

Golden State: They need a talented swingman and can give up some pf's for it. In this scenerio they talked Arenas into a sign and trade to help out the team while moving on to greener pastures.

Rocks: This squad is not doing it. So they look at what they have and look at what the league wants. After removing Ming's name from the list they said LETS GO FOR IT.

Clippers: Money is the issue here. They need to unload all the to be expensive talent for cheaper almost as talented group of players. The key is to save money without dropping too much talent off.

Timberwolves: Another first round exit leads to drastic measures. They shop around the hottest commodity in the league in hopes to bring back a star maybe two.

Knicks: Tired of injured players plagueing their roster they look to trade and deal for what they have needed for the longest time, a pg and a C

Blazers: With the improvement of Zack and the retirement of Pippen and Sabonis's age, Blazers look to get younger and bring in a talented big man. Willing to sacrifice lots of talent to do so (because they are loaded) they enter the trading buffet.

Raptors: Carter is hurt and the team looks as dismal as ever. They now look to go all out in trades to bring in talented bigman.

Atlanta: Like the Clippers, they want to unload contracts and free up cap. Along the way it would be nice to get a true pf and some young talent.

In the end some teams unloaded a lot of contracts or potential contracts (Hawks Clippers), Some teams got revamped completely but look a lot better (Raptors Rockets Golden State) and some made the small moves and sacrifices it took to bring them to the next level (Wovles Knicks Blazers) and some just look like they have a great future (Cavs). This scenerio has been a big collaboration of many small trades mentioned on this board. Bits and pieces such as Rice and Griffen for SAR rumors, Francis for Garnett, Clippers releasing all players, New York Possibilties, Fondness for G.S. Gaurds, and I turned it into one big monster trade. I hope was fun for those who just like to imagine the NBA if they were the GM.

Only a 9 team trade? What about the other 20 teams? Be a man, and do a 29 team trade.

PS - this will never happen

I adamantly applaud your effort put into the trade, and I even think we get about equal to what we gave, but I don't think the Rockets are interested in blowing the team up. Garnett, SAR, and Arenas would definitely be sufficient for our entire team, but I hope to God CD wouldn't try to pull something so drastic.

Nice work, though. You sure seem to come up with the huge 100-player trades.

I'm not sure if the Blazers would pull it, though.

I didn't read it, it was too long, but I applaud the time and effort to come up with a 9 team 30 man monster trade.

Yeah. Apparently he skipped the first paragraph. And you most definitely succeeded in making a fun 'what if' scenario. Of course a 9 team trade is absolutely insane but that doesn't mean it's not a fun idea to toy around with. And good god, Yao, KG and SAR? OUCH! richarson and arenas aren't too bad either but i think it would be the front court that would make that team unstoppable.

anyway, i have to say I prefer this to all the trade scenarios people think are realistic possibilities. This is more fun and not nearly so serious in tone. I enjoyed reading it reading it.

So Grydian, why even click on the thread and come here to post that. Might as well not post anything at all seeing as someone politely told you to at least have the decency not to post anything negative. KEEP IT REAL! No trade scenerios are real. This was a compilation of all the trade scenerios I hace read on this board. If the other smaller trades were keeping real, then look at this in bits a pieces. If anything this is the dream trade for most ppl on this board and is virtually fair. It is impossible to assemble a trade this massive and not be lopsided in some areas. In these scenerio obviously all fa agree to s/t. Some ppl find it fun to play what ifs and GM for a day. Why bother coming here just to post that you can't break it down.

Post a huge monster trade that will never even come close to happening (the first paragraph of which just gives the reader a guilt trip for not agreeing with it in advance) and then berade everyone who disagrees with it?

I just don't see the point. Maybe it's just me..

Why post with the sole intention to disagree when the thread title was only for those interested. Why go on to a baseball site for baseball fans and bash the sport than ask the other poster why berade me for ignoring that it was a baseball fan site. It was not a guilt trip, it was so that ppl won't waste time with posting negative nonsense if they thought this was a stupid idea anyways. The only ppl who go on a guilt trip are those who came in here not interested and ready bash it anyways. But way to go posting "whats the point" anyways. Very considerate of you. Don't mind what other ppl say, do what you wish and complain about them saying anything about it. It was post like yours I was trying to get ppl to avoid. If you don't agree with it, why post here, why even come to this thread.

Maybe its me, but I don't see the point.

I like this trade. Rockets surely got the better end of deal!

Does it mean we will have 5 starts in double figures night-in and night-out?

When you hit enter, you should expect to get drilled..no matter what disclaimer you put at the beginning to try to keep ppl from doing it.

If ya cant stand the heat, don't cook up the trades.
