Is Patrick Beverley ill? (UPDATE: He will play in Game 4)

Is the news here that Bev is going to play or that McHale is unsure about most things?

 

I don't think the latter would count as news.

 

Lillard is about to reign terror without much Beverley

 

Please tell me Canaan will at least dress tonight.

 

A corticosteroid injection and he should be good to go if it's just a viral illness/flu-like symptoms.

I wonder how our strategy changes if Bev is limited. Might be more attacking in hopes of drawing fouls and to take advantage of Lillard's crappy defense; at the same time it makes Lillard's life a lot easier...

 

You mean he's going to score even more points than he has been scoring? 31, 18, and 30? You're saying he's about to drop 40 on us?

 

Let's make sure that Pat breathes on Lillard as much as possible. Lick his hands before hand-checking Lillard, too.

 

Over half of the 31 came when Bev was out of the game, and he went on another huge run last game when Bev went to the bench (when even JVG was pleading on the broadcast for us to put Bev back in)... killed Daniels and lit up Harden on switches. So yeah, I'd say it could definitely get worse.

 

I would bet on food poisoning, someone always catches it during playoffs. Never fells to happen, my hotel orders would be top secret.

 

Bev said he would be off twitter for the playoffs.

Why is Bev tweeting and not practicing?
