Same people telling the Clipper players to make a stand or the same people who wouldn't quit their job if they find out their boss was racist.

The players on that team worked so hard to get to this level and they have bonded to together as brothers to try and win a Championship. They have every right to continue to pursue that goal.

So then do what about it? No one is calling for this man's death, people are speaking out against it.

Should it just be ignored then?

most people would love to move on from racism but when you have guys like donald sterling and websites like stormfront, just ignoring it won't make it go away.

Did you hear what Sterling said? (If that is indeed him.) That's what causes discord and separation.

Its so far beneath us, that it should be laughed at. Almost like not even worth the energy. And again, im talking about the outrage directed towards him. I dont see MLK doing that

You don't see MLK being outraged at racism.
In the history of bad examples this one deserves it's own mini-series. Congrats Sir.

Look for ref conspiracy now. No way the NBA is going to allow this to be in the public eye any longer than it has to be and they will never allow Sterling to hoist a trophy on live TV, much less make the finals. Golden State in 7.

I doubt MLK would have said nothing and done nothing and just ignored it. Problems aren't solved by ignoring them.

If this was some random guy on the street I'd agree...but this is a real estate mogul whose actions HAVE affected minorities. This is a employer...

He very much IS worth it.

Not a gambling man here, but I really don't understand why Las Vegas odds on Clippers do not drop towards zero. Unless they force Sterling to sell the team (unlikely), and do it ASAP, the players will shirk, lack motivation.

You can't marginalize the anger of offended people and then try to sell it as a virtue. If you were MLK's adviser, what would you recommend?

I agree and the key pieces KNEW Sterling was a racist POS. What bothers me is the faux outrage from Doc Rivers and Chris Paul.... They knew what they were getting into, but figured they got to play/coach in LA and were not really concerned about Sterling.

The uniform "protest" was lame, but I suppose they felt they had to do something, and they were not willing to not play the game. I don't blame them ... They are just trying to play both sides.

Sterling is a POS, no more or less now than years ago.
