I would love it if CP3, Rivers and the rest of the team bought solid, black colored shirts for everyone at the arena. Sterling would ironically be surrounded by a sea of black.

    This is a ridiculous strawman.
    Nice try Sterling.

Doc Rivers and Chris Paul have nothing to do with this. Not one player in the NBA Magic or anyone else deserve any kind of blame because that guys mind is messed up

I think its silly and misguided that people are even bothering to go there. Are the fans idiots for going to see the team? How about the consession workers, security, ticket people?

They're all idiots right? ALL of them huh

Thus far the NBA's official response has been as expected, to protect Sterling as much as possible. This could be inferred from:

    (1) The fact that Silver would state that Sterling would not show up courtside at the next game, as though that were some sort of major concession.

    (2) That the NBA appears to have had all teams put out a "no comment" policy. The biggest beneficiary is Sterling himself.

I'm sayin', Sterling is a made man. It's like the question of what wins, the irresistible force or the immovable object. He has to go down (and will), because the political system requires it - ultimately, it will put down one of their own to protect the system. But he will get the minimal slap on the wrist, given the circumstances.

    I do agree with you.

In a major way they stand to lose more supporting the guy when there is no reason to do it. He's had enough protection and absolving for years now. They just let everything go as if it was nothing at all, and went after anyone else whom they wanted to.

Cuban - yeah dont talk about my refs

Josh Howard - Yeah you cant say that about the Pledge even from your private cell phone comments someone happened to put on youtube

This guy has had enough time to carry on as he pleased, yelling at his own players on the floor, taking women in the locker rooms and referring to the guys as beautiful black men, and im sure a host of other stuff within the organization over the years including the lawsuit from his own GM.

Obama is a puppet, of course. But they need to get rid of Sterling to keep up the propaganda so that fools like torocan stay fooled.

duly noted. however, does it bother you these rappers don't give back in the form of $$$ and initiatives while white philanthropists, entrepreneurs and old money alike (gates, buffet, zuckerberg, rockafella), lead the way in global causes to abolish poverty amongst minorities? Seems despite understanding your struggle better than me, they are content to flaunt it in your face and keep stockpiling through brainwashing ventures instead of fighting for initiatives.

No, those "old money" and NGOs are practicing Machiavellian tactics, as taught by Machiavelli to members the ruling class. Because the lower classes do not realize what their real purpose is.

As bad as we talk about this country, it still is one of the best on Earth if not the best. You think politics elsewhere in the world allow this type of freedom? No where does anybody have it this good. You guys remember that. I know for a fact it's as good as it gets.

Regardless of how and why the this tape was released, if it authentic, Sterling is done as a NBA owner. The NBA will find a new buyer for the Clippers and be done with this matter.

Clippy, that is a bunch of baloney. This is not entrapment because he is not being criminally prosecuted. It matters not how the tape was released. It is only important that the tape exists. That's how they got Romney with his
    "99% takers" statement.

The man was dating a black/Latina lady, how racist could he be? I heard the audio and it seemed like to me he was just jealous. The way he kept saying I don't care if you **** him/them.

I bet most people who are morally outraged (including guys like Stephen A Smith) haven't actually listened to the audio.
