The author of that article was watching the game WITHOUT sound. He assumed harden got into Lin's face with both hands. The reality was, as the commentator called it, Harden was trying to calm Lin down because Lin was showing some anxiety blaming himself for the turn over. Why is this thread titled "between Harden and Howard" when it was Harden and Lin & Howard and Lin?
The article was written by Kevin Ding, a LAKERS writer who is still mad that Dwight left LA...he wrote this garbage to make some drama for us Rockets fans.
OP, maybe you mean there's a deep divide between Lin and H-H? Because how many assists did Harden give to Howard on those pnrs. They only stopped when they used Batum to guard Harden and Harden got an offensive foul. They're all trying to win. They know they need each other. They get frustrated with each other. You have to admit Lin's play can get pretty frustrating at times. Only human. But in the end, they know they win as a team, they lose as a team. Wtf ****ty lies are you trying to propagate?
Sick of these threads. Miami players yell at there point guards all the time. Greg Popovich flat out used to abuse Tony Parker. Stop flooding the message board with crappy threads like this. At least wait until another source specifically says they know there are problems. This is a writers who has never played sport who can't understand how heated the competition is and how players need to keep each other accountable.
Yes, on one hand this is not some random unpaid guy. Kevin Ding is a professional writer at least, but Kevin Ding definitely has his own biases, having been a Lakers beat writer before b/r (now owned by Turner Sports, IIRC) poached him. The LA media is definitely looking for opportunities to take shots at Dwight Howard. They'll have a field day if the Rockets don't do better than the Lakers did last season in the playoffs.
Terrible article. Harden was actually calming Lin down, because he knew they'd need a poised Lin down the stretch. And go figure, he recovered Harden's TO and eventually got it to Daniels for the GW. Howard on the other hand seems to get mad at Lin more often.
Now that's Karma! Harden calming Lin down and Lin ended up mopping the floor to clean up his loose ball and passed it to Daniels for the win!
Howard also got in Bev's face a couple times on the D end - and Harden and Howard did get a bit chippy with each other. This is all to be expected - they were playing desperate ball and emotions are high. Not even worth discussing - families get mad at each other too - the good ones still have each other's backs when it counts.
