bro the coach doesnt play, the players make the decisions and play the game thats like blaming your mom for how r****ded you turned out to be
Spot on with Mchale. The coaching question marks have come back to the surface and are hurting the team in the playoffs like I feared. He gets another way, try and improve the coaching staff behind him.
I think McHale not using his bench a bit more was a mistake - the team looked gassed in the 4th qtr in game 2.
how many coaches would put in a rookie from the D-League and give him significant minutes down the stretch? hindsight is 20-20 but thats a gutsy call and it worked out
McHale certainly has his shortcomings (he isn't a championship caliber coach) but we just haven't shot well and have missed a lot of good looks.
Our team is a defensive comedy routine, JVG rollin ova in his grave. I'm happy someone else can see how awful his defense and offense is, its like I'm in the twilight zone, I have never heard any of the media talk about our awful defense, I just hear "Harden's not the best defender" talk about understatement of the year. We need to fire our entire coaching staff since they literally have no offense, no defense and no set plays, what could you possibly lose, I'm 100% sure I could be a better defensive assistant that whatever crackhead they have right now, its embarrassing.
It's pretty ironic to see that while Batum said before the first playoff game that his or Parsons' performances would be the key to the series, Parsons said he's the best SF of the series.
[rQUOTEr] The NBA isn’t complicated — to blow a series when you have a more talented team.....[/rQUOTEr] This part right here makes me wonder whether or not he's actually talking about McHale.
You have to remember, coaching also brings out the best in players. So if you examine the Rox line up and factor in a better coach, this would be different. Lin and Harden were much better than this prior to being coach by Mchale.
I believe. I'm willing to see what happens. Sometimes less is more. See Doug Collins and Jeff Van Gundy. There are many kinds of coaches out there. But I like what happening with the Rockets. They feel like a team. They don't play like individuals in general. Seems to me we've made some adjustments. Dwight Howard has awakened from a nearly 3 year slumber this week. We've quartered Lamarcus Aldridge. Our Stars are scoring. And I believee that while the defense is soft, I do not think the players we have will ever be good defenders. They don't have the physical attributes. Overall the team is in position to achieve. I think if he get those foul calls we were getting during the season, we would be up 2-1. No matter. Very much in this. Coach is doing a great job.
