Not that I agree with the poster you are responding to, but your argument isn't much better.

If any Rocket at any point in the entire game didn't miss a shot or a free throw, they would've won in regulation...

LET IT GO YOU EMO KNEE JERKING MAN KIDS....it's not like Jeremy was the only one who made mistakes....at least he redeemed himself and was crucial in pulling this one out.

A WIN is a WIN regardless if it's regulation or not....get over it, celebrate this win and hope this helps Lin play with confidence next game also. He played really well overall.

This is a weak terrible argument by a blinded biased Lin hater.

Would of, could of, should of. Tons of MLE players do nothing but sit on the bench. There's no guarantee MLE player would give you the RETURN ON INVESTMENT on par with Daniels contract, for his game winning shot.

If you're logic made any sense, we wouldn't have AMARE and BOOZER contracts. What do they contribute? Dumbass

Lin played good, people need to stop being dogging him, he made a big difference in the game.

That layup he missed is probably a 99% probability shot when he is open like that. I think with odds like that, it was the right shot to take. When you're wide open for a layup, even with the time I think that's a shot you take.

Lin is obviously the reason we win or lose.

It's not because of our max player with a FG% of 32.9% and a defensive sieve.

I agree. Lots of whiners on this site don't want to admit that his effort won that game tonight. He was fearless. That doesn't mean he was mistake free, but his energy and playmaking helped to win that game.

Lin's biggest problem is the whole teams biggest problem. Perimeter defense.

They let the Boazers consistently give them one juke blow bys. They don't seem like ISO because it's not Harden out there dribbling to try and get by... But they are ISO plays. Just it takes Lillard all of two seconds to get by Lin (or anyone else).

When your getting by your opponent without even having to run a pick and roll... You're screwed defensively.

The rockets were down 116 to 112 midway through the overtime. How many points did the blazers end up with? 116. They finally out together 2 minutes of stops.

After Howard, Lin was the best 2 way player on the court for the Rockets.

I agree that he shouldn't have taken the shot if it wasn't almost a sure thing. It just looked like an almost for sure shot for Lin, he is very good at finishing around the basket.

His inconsistencies are not based on inexperience... they're almost instinctual.

He's gotten a lot more of an opportunity/playing time than his actual play deserves. If he wasn't getting paid what he was, he would likely not have been in this team's rotation (or would have been benched in favor of Brooks earlier in the year).

His biggest strength is.... I'm not really sure what it is... and that's after two full years here.

From the Lillard highlights ESPN showed during the game, Lillard blew by Harden several times.

Lin has a lot of holes in his game that much is true. But to be fair, his role on this team completely not a good fit for his skillset which is pretty much dependent on pick and rolls and fast breaks. Surely you have to notice that he runs the pnr very well.

Well actually, he almost won game 1 by himself, and he made big plays tonight to help win this one. In OT's points are at a premium and he had 4 points 1 assist and 1 key rebound and the key loose ball pickup of the game. In essence, he generated 7 of Houston's 11 points in the OT.

Yea..... No. He's inconsistent, but who has been really during this series? Stop trying to make sweeping generalizations based on one game, a game that the team WON no less.

He's simply pointing out Lin was a difference maker in tonight's win.

    What's your problem? Grow up

Lin was on his man tonight. He played great defense on that circus shot by Lillard. In fact, I think Lillard traveled on that play. Can't say the same for Beverley or Harden whom Lillard pretty much toyed with.

    It is true.

Every Rockets win this season has been because of Lin and Lin only. ALl the Rockets defeats are because of racism against Lin and marginalization

Without Lin, Rockets would be the worst team in the league with the number 1 pick looming.

    Lin = MVP
