Uh, that's the nature of a performance business. It was absolutely not a good decision. 24 seconds there were much more valuable than 2 points.
How do you feel about your statement now??? He just made the game saving/winning play in addition to several other plays. His intensity won this game for the Rockets.
The Lin hate is ridiculous he is a 6th man all 6th man are inconsistent. It seems like if he makes a play alright he should do that, but if he misses or TOs OMG HE SUCKZ BENCH HIm TRADE HIM, it is getting annoying such fair weather fans we have.
Here we go, internet tough guy I don't care about good decisions if you don't have the ability to back it up or any kind of consistency to go with it I realize you want to look for a hero and support everyone on the Rockets-- nothin' wrong with that. But I've been watching since the 80's an dknow what winning teams have .. end of the day, I want consistency over a liability on both ends of the floor . JUST HAPPY we found a new guy in Daniels to make big shots
Especially down 0-2... with a loss basically ending your season. This is the story of Lin... some gutsy plays... but some incomprehensible ones as well. In the end, that sort of inconsistency will not be worth $15 million.
Lin made the steal that got us possession of the ball and the pinpoint pass to Daniels at the 3 point line. If it was someone else, he probably wouldn't have made the steal, nor had the court awareness and passing ability to get it to Daniels where he could shoot it. If the pass was around Daniels' knees or had made him jump for it, the open 3 point shot wouldn't have been there for Daniels.
I agree he's not worth $15 million but he's definitely worth more than the $5 million we're paying him now. His cap hit ($8 million) is what he's worth. And I dare say that he's inconsistent because he's given inconsistent playing time. The games in which he played as the main PG (i.e. the games without Harden), he was consistent.
Rofl???? What lin fans need to realize is if Lin wasn't on the roster, someone else worth the MLE would be on the roster. NBA players from nbdl call ups to slow vets make plays. It's on them to be consistent or not be a liability. What about Beverly tipping the ball out of Aldridge's hands at the end? How many of those plays go unnoticed by him. applaud the effort for looking for the good in him always, but ultimately that hurts the team when you dont look at the big pic
I was so ****ing mad at Lin for missing that layup. But he hit his two free throws after being leveled, made a nice step back over Lillard to cut it to two, and then recovered the ball and made a heady play at the end for Daniels to hit the 3. This was the definition of an up and down game for Lin. I'm still a little mad at him, but at least we won
Is this a serious post? If it was someone else they probably would have won in regulation. Not to mention that he dribbled the ball off his foot on the possesion before his desperate toss to Daniels
Van Gundy sums it up when he says Lin at time looks good out there. Just hope that time is the last play of the game.
Probably.... Yes, like Rockets made any stops at all. Move on. We won the game and dude made a mistake. Just keep it at that
