ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 4/25/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

I just aged about 20 years.

 

I hope The refs lost a lot of money. **** I hoped they lost their house.

 

My heart is still pounding out of my chest. It just seemed like everything was working against us and going wrong, but we somehow managed to pull it off. I bet the Blazers felt the same way after they beat us in overtime in game 1. Great heads up play by Lin after a couple of very shaky ones to find Daniels open at the 3 point line and wow, what a clutch shot! Amazing! Lots of stuff to be mad about this game, but I'll take a few minutes to savor this victory. Our season was essentially over with a loss here.

 

I couldn't believe harden passed to Lin for 3 when Daniels was on the floor that pissed me off but Lin passing to Daniels made me forget every bad thing Lin did .....until espn recapped the game

 

next game is on tnt

 

The most important question I have is why the fck is the refs not teching up the damn Blazers. Seriously the amount of **** they get away with is just amazing. Joey Crawford not t-ing up Aldridge?! Like really?! Wes Matthew running away from calls? I remember Bev getting a T for doing that. Freaking double standards.

 

Thank you Troy! Thank you for saving your coach's and superstar's asses!

but it is a good shoot and he dribble passed 3 defenders for this great look..

 

1st off... if I was anywhere near Portland tonight, I would definitely be buying Troy Daniels lap-dances all night.

2nd... gotta give credit to Jeremy Lin. He made a bonehead play near the end of regulation that cost this team, but he made up for it with outstanding hustle in OT.

3rd.... Patrick Beverley. I don't know how the hell he got higher than Aldridge on that last possession but that was freaking amazing.

Lastly... why the hell weren't the Rockets running that Post PnR with Harden and Howard at the end of the game? Portland has STILL yet to stop that.

 

James Harden.. 50 minutes... ugh, rest up guys.

 

Well, Lin initials the switch, Lilliard on Harden instead of Batum, consider it good strategy.

 

Great team work, nice recovery from choking!!! Get some rest, and stop choking next game!!

 

Was I the only one who was actually happy the ball wound up in Daniels' hands? I knew that was going in the entire time. The Blazers got all the lucky BS shots in regulation. The Rockets were due.

 

This is how you build trust. This is how you play with heart. This is how the Rockets needs to play.

 

I think i died with the ridiculous thrill of this game. OMFG...my heart is racing, im sweating..never have i rooted so hard for this team that tonight ever...

 

This team really gives me an emotional roller coaster. What a win. Let's focus and get the next one.
