whoever the coach may be, some of the talented players we never see play might BENEFIT from the hiring of the new coach. Since offense is one of the most vital things that the ROX are keeping in mind for their coach search, i can see the ROX playing with an UP-TEMPO, fast-break, pass the ball first type of offense instead of staying with the ISO plays.

I can actually see BOKI and TMO benifiting from this and you never know, EG might become the player we traded 3 players for. i can picture it now----> EG with the rebound, half-court pass to BOKI who jukes his opponent out and alley-oops it to TMO for 2 points! whoooo! The Eagle has landed folks!

Whoever the coach may be, changes will be made and changes will be GOOD!------> in reference to the TEAM STRATEGY

that sounds so sweet.. and that hasnt got the name yao or steve in it too! what if all five of em hustled and s***, that would be so tight!

yao with the rebound.. fast break past to francis... francis runnin with posey and boki on each side.. shaq is frusrated of the 3-1 run.... francis fakes the pass to boki and passes it to posey..... posey with the tomahawk jam!!!

The key is to get Posey under lock.

Lets hope the new coach does not let Steve Francis freeze out the Italian rook like he did the first few games last year. Boki will get an opportunity to show what he can do as long as there is there is no ball control by the guards.

I have high hopes for Eddie, I think Rudy was holding him back. I think he will do great with the right coach.

Concerning both Nachbar and Eddie Griffin...I really hope whoever the new coach is that comes in will really help both of these players realize their potential.

Clearly this team will rise and fall with the growth or Yao Ming and Steve Francis, but how much better would this team also be if Eddie Griffin and Nachbar turned into players similar to Kenyon Martin and Hedo Tukgalo?

Whoever the Rockets get as a new coach needs to be a "teacher" and someone that will make these guys realize their potential.

    I hope so too.

    Who knows...................

Eddie into KMart or Rasheed Wallace.
    Nachbar into Hedo or PEJA...

    That would be great...

I think if we get the right coach, Eddie could emerge as a star......unless he has permanent brain damage.

whoever the coach maybe, u will see a definite change in the offensive scheme bcuz that is one of the things the ROX expect with the coaching change. Most of the players who have great potential on the bench like TMO, EG, and BOKi will most likey benefit from the new change.

For all you BOKI fans, just wait and see......this season will prove that he was worth the 1st round pick.

Nice to hear something positive about the players. I hope the next coach allows Nachbar to get some real on-court experience. At the very worst he could be like Radmanovic and who knows how much better. I don't know how anyone can compare Eddie to KMart, Eddie does not have that demeanor on the court, anywhere near the explosiveness vertically, or lateral quickness. I'd see him at best being Rasheed with Duncan's quietness.

Eddie isn't a banger like Kmart or a good shooter like Wallace

and Boki...I can only hope he can be like Radnomovic (sp?) from the sonics...

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

As a Slovenian, Nachbar never played for the Italian (national) team but he played on an Italian team - Benetton Treviso which is an Italian team in the Euroleague.

Nachbars 2001-2002 Benetton Treviso team made it to the Euroleague Final Four and the Benetton team included all tournament selection Tyus Edney, Jorge Garbajosa (on the Spanish WC team at Indy last summer) and Denver draftee Nikoloz Tskitishvili.

    Yup that's what I meant.
I think originaly there was a mix up.I myself am not sure what Texas stroke ment by "he played for the italian team."I thought it was the national team, not a club(Benetton Treviso),thus the retification.
Btw I think they won the tournement, non? Might be wrong...

The first poster had a half court pass which cut out the dribbling. The up tempo game must reduce the dribbling. It means that our Point Guard (Steve) can be more effective later on in the play. Otherwise I liked your play.
