Elbow still a problem and will rest it over the next 4 days. He still hasn't made a decision about the Spurs game.

Im glad Cat's gettin his injuries taking car of and I'm praying that the Rockets will now decide to run a 2 man game between Steve and Mo. IF we let Mo and Steve play the pick and roll game we will kill teams, they will have to pick their poison. You can either have Steve going to the hole to score or dish off or the pass off to Mo, who has one of the best shots for a power forward in the league.

Since Mobley is hurt Francis might go for 45 against the Warriors.

Yeah... hopefully he'll be able to stop Hughes, Blaylock, or Cummings from going for 46.

Rudy and co should have held Mobley out of the last 2 games. He couldn't even shoot free throws, and if Mobley can't shoot, what is he giving you? Defense? Ha ha ha ha

    JR,

Mobley's defense has improved noticeably. That claim of Walt-type defense is becoming a myth pretty quickly.

This is great news. Finally the other players on the Rockets will get to develop some chemistry. Mobley should stay out until his elbow is perfectly healed.

Cat should not have played against the Spurs and the Lakers. I'm not saying that he hurt us in those games (even though he did with his lack of outside shooting/free throws), but I don't know if we would have even been in any of those games without Cuttino. The main thing is that he just aggravated his injury more instead of resting, and it probably would have been all healed if he just sat out against the Spurs and/or Lakers.

The way we played the Warriors last time, we're gonna need Cuttino's help. And Cuttino playing against the Lakes and Spurs still ended up in two losses for the Rockets. So his "sacrifice" was actually pretty worthless... all it did was just increase the healing time required.

Just throwing this out there and I think somebody should make a thread about it but we must have the WORST defensive small forwards in the league. Our tandem of Wiz and Bullard aint scaring nobody on the defensive end and there can't be a team out there with worse defensive 3's

    heypartner--

I thought I was the only one who noticed his defense improving. Thank God I'm not alone.

I think some people will never see it, because they actually *hate* Mobley...like ZRB.

Did you see the footage of the injury on channel 2?? His elbow twisted awkwardly when he fell to the ground...hopefully it's nothing too serious.

I do NOT hate Mobley. I think he has a great heart. I do hate some of the the things he does to the team, and I think Rudy needs to stop going to him so much. I don't think he is as good as he thinks he is, and he has cost the Rockets several games.

I respect Old School's scoop and everything, but haven't we already gone through this? Cat will probably decide to play at the last minute.
