start Lin he ball will move more and other players will get involved, Howard will get easy looks, harden will because batum & Wes can't double him every play, parsons will get easier 3 looks & fast break points, numbers are clear that bev playing more mins than Lin is not working in playoffs. We are in the road we can't play this half court game in Portland we just can't.

People said the series would be over if bev couldn't come back because of Lillard, Lillard is doing what he wants getting key rebounds & assist. Bev isn't even 100% don't let pride get it the way we have to try something new!

I dont have a good feeling about this.

 

I dont necessarily disagree with you but WILL NEVER HAPPEN AS LONG AS McHALE IS THE COACH which wont be much longer hopefully.

You just knew it was going to be a referee with history. Let's hope Harden learns quickly and adjust so as to not look for fouls. Just drive and finish!

 

Harden needs to add something to his game TONIGHT! Don't be a two trick pony by only driving left or shooting a 3 at the top of the key .Portland taking these things away so he needs to start hustling off screens and shoot off dribble . no more of this slow motion BS

I got a feeling we will get behind early this game and lose by double digits.

The key stat to watch tonight will be the number of "Joey Sucks!" chants we hear. We're gonna need at least two, maybe three of those to win tonight. If the home fans aren't irate at Crawford, you know the home team is winning.

 

Actually Joey Crawford really lets his whistle sing for Harden. And Lord knows we need Harden to live at the FT line.

If Harden plays lights out for the rest of the series, and Mchale makes some smart in game adjustments, all is forgiven, if not, both can F themselves

 

Am I the only one who doesnt care that Lamarcus Aldridge is scoring 40 points a game? Look at the regular season, he ALWAYS completely destroys us and yet we beat them three out of the four times we played. The only difference is James Harden is playing like complete and utter crap. If he is even slightly below average instead of playing like Jordan Crawford we win both games.

 

Put Dwight on Aldridge

I don't think we should double Aldridge. They're probably already expecting us to do that and have a plan just waiting to torch us. If anything we should just put Howard on Aldridge and then play motiejuanas, asik, and Jones on Lopez. It's not like Lopez is dropping 40 on us so we should put the former defensive player of the year on Aldridge.

I expect Portland to win this game, not because Houston doesn't have the talent but because McHale will not make the necessary lineup changes and coaching adjustments.

To win this game, Houston needs to use more 2-way players who can defend and move the ball. That starts with Jeremy Lin - he is the second best 2 way player on the team (after Dwight Howard) and he has shown in the first 2 games that he can make the game easier for other players on the court. I also think that D-Mo, Casspi and Garcia need to have more minutes. Beverley needs to be limited to 24 minutes. Harden's minutes should be monitored based on how well he is scoring and whether he is making an effort on defense. Another game like the first 2 and he will enter Roy Hibbert territory.
