even if Harden isn't shooting well, the least he could do it penetrate and make assists. Harden is usually a high assist guy with his penetration. In this series, he isn't doing anything to help the team at all. He is trying to shoot himself into the game again which isn't working and is killing his confidence even further. How about the coach draw some plays to get Harden going again...? Trade that scrub Lin
Don't agree about Lin. He had some really good assists and a couple more long passes that weren't converted. The reason we lost was plain and simple. LMA was a beast and was drilling contested mid range shots. That WILL stop next game and the Rockets WILL get better production from Harden and BevLin.
tbh I think reffing was part of the reason. These factors in play: 1) LA's confidence. All-time high. In the zone. 2) Ref's calling phantom fouls. So our players can only 'wave' our hand in his face, and can't really play a little closer of physical without getting a call. GG.

I hope nobody is doing that. These last few pages have been full of so many strawmans from both sides (People always blaming Lin and Lin fans defending Lin/sarcastically blaming Lin for everything) that it's sad to see two sides go at it for perceived bashings from each other that aren't even happening. Lin's foul at the end probably wasn't the smartest move but way more things happened in the game that cost the team. I highly doubt our team was going to make the stop AND grab the defensive board to give our team a chance to tie the game (would have been nice to see if it would have happened though). Anyway you guys can continue making up things that the other side is saying to keep making your argument look better, didn't mean to inject a normal post in here (my apologies).
Just watched Game 2. Regd the foul at 30s left in the 4th Q, it was not well thought out. However, this happened just after the timeout. You would have thought the coaches would have said something like "DO NOT FOUL" or some strategic advice of that sort. Lin played 24 minutes. Pinning the loss on him says more about the accuser than about his game. CParsons not playing like carp would have helped a lot too. Bottom line is JHarden is the key. He is the most important player on the team. He plays well, we win. He plays badly, we lose. He's not played well these past 2 games. On the bright side, he's due for a monster game. Bring on Game 3.
What offence. All commentators and writers (Chris Webber on national TV also) have stated that the Rockets don't seem to have any organized offense. Chis went so far as to say I don't know what thay are doing out there. All commentators clearly put the blame on McHale and Harden's very poor play.
Oh Come on I am sure you can find more errors that Lin makes in every game. It would be good if you would list them in order to puctuate your point that Lin is a Basketball moron. It would add greatly to your argument . BTW 29 of 30 teams thought the Bev. was not worth a contract and he is now purported to be indespensible to the Rockets and and elite defender.
These losses aren't on Lin, but we still need to trade him. He's just not that good and for what we're paying him he needs to be a bigger contributor.
my ex girlfriend is a wedding videographer. The other day her assistant was sick so she asked me to come help her. I go to some wedding and she puts me in charge of manning some static cams she has on tripods. The trouble is, she doesn't 'trust' me to adjust the angle or shot. So I end up standing at a camera, watching the screen as it films the back of some people standing between the camera and the groom. A terrible shot. Complete waste of footage and time. I could have easily moved the camera, adjusted it, got better shots. Etc. But I was not given the greenlight. If I had moved the camera and something had gone wrong, she would have blamed me for ruining everything. If I had gotten some great shots, she would have still been pissed I didn't do as ordered. I honestly feel like this is the position Lin is in. He's been ordered to defer to Harden, and only take three point shots or layups. When we all know his game is midrange floaters, runners, turnarounds, fadeaways, etc., driving to the basket and looking for cutters. So until Lin is given the greenlight to play his style of ball and not defer... I really don't care what happens, I'm withholding judgement. Right now Lin is just following orders, and totally subverting his own game, on the off chance that the coach is right and that is actually what is best for the team. But so far, Aldridge and his midrange game are like a slap in the face of Morey ball.
