Understood, I think. I was worried you were implying the players were having problems with each other.

I don't really think many of these players are as close as they'd like us to think. That's just my vibe of it though. I think Dwight is just incredibly immature and that would get old really fast.

With the way Harden play, there has to be dissension, chemistry issue or even finger pointing. There is no leader in this team.

But for how long though big timer. Hardens teammates can't be too happy with his latest performance. Sooner or later the locker room will get separated especially when you have a very young team. But I hope it doesn't get divided.

Players liking each other is not something you can bottle and keep forever.

I'm pretty sure a lot of guys liked their x-wives at one point.

Relationships are like a living organism. They grow...evolve. When times get rough sometimes relationships go sour.

Unless you are in that locker room you really have 0 clue how the players are dealing with each other and if there's any finger pointing.

Really I don't care if they f'n hate each other.

    Just win.

If this is accurate... There should be no McHale apologist remaining on the board... AT ALL...

No telling, but considering that this is a young team and virtually everyone is still growing as a player, I doubt that they're too hard on each other at this point in their careers.

Now how long that lasts, a lot will depend on how well their personalities mesh. Fortunately for us there doesn't seem to be any outright personality conflict so far. Players that are friends can take you a long way.

In the future, who knows. Players get older, their priorities change, they get married and find new interests. For now they're still eating together, playing video games and going to movies.

Hopefully it lasts a while as team mates that like each other tend to have an easier time playing together.

Les is pissed off and made some calls to DM. DM then scheduled a meeting with McHale. DM has also seen that clip of McHale and JB. It's really looking bad now.

mchale can hold players accountable on defense...? he can't hold them accountable on offense either. how many times do we have to watch the offense completely fall apart? no players moving off the ball. no ball movement. how many times will fundamental basketball be ignored? the freestyle offense is not working. 3s and getting to the basket are great, but it's not a complete offense. a midrange option has to be developed in some ways. the rocket offense has to become more structured and sophisticated.

i really do hope mchale is responsible for this, but if the notion that mchale is just a puppet running morey's system is true...morey better not use mchale as a scapegoat in the way mchale is using sampson. the system has flaws and needs to improve.

and the next coach cannot ignore defense. he has to make sure his flock is under control.

anyways, thanks cyberx. people need to calm down. is this 100% true? who knows, but some of it most likely is. this guy has called a lot of things. enough to not be doubtful of his insider status. although, it IS the internet after all. expect to be hated on.

Hey bro, any chance you could go into more detail about what you said?

I'm not gonna call you a fake or anything; I'm genuinely curious about what is wrong with our team and locker room.

If Harden continues to play like this and they lose in 4 or 5 games, it will not be harmonious in that locker room. You know Dwight has to be PO'd right now. Bev can't be too pleased given that he's sacrificed his body and risked his career for this team. I imagine Asik despises Morey right about now for not trading him. Every guy on the bench who hasn't sniffed a minute of playing time in the postseason is probably angry as well. And just wait til Harden has to go through an entire offseason(which will last 6 months BTW!) of hearing endless criticism from the local and especially national media. Who knows what that dude's mental state will be come next October?

Good. He needs something to kick his ass and whip him into shape.

Back then if Yao played any playoff games against teams coached under McHale, he would made his career there.. lol no double team/fronting adjustment what so ever! One-on-One all the way

Portland played Yao 1on1 back in 2009, and they lost the first game because of that. Yao was unstoppable just like Aldridge. They started double teaming him the rest of the series, but other players stepped up. I would rather we double team Aldridge and see if others can step up.

They had other guys stepping up in 2009. Brooks was terrific in Game 1(I think Yao hardly even played in the 2nd half). Battier was clutch in Game 3 or 4. I think it was 4. And Artest helped finish them off in Game 6. That was the epitome of a team. These Rockets are not playing that way at all.
