To me it doesn't look like it has anything to do with pressure. Harden is 24 and immature, he just got a max contract. He's getting paid, there's no reason for him to try hard out there. To him this is just a game right now. He's probably thinking about what strip club he'll go to in the off season. He's just not mature enough to have the desire to win a championship as the main option. You can tell by the effort he gives defensively and even offensively at times in the playoffs. Of course that doesn't mean he'll never have it. When he's 28 ,has all the money in the world, and doesn't have a ring he'll realize that he needs to play hard out there on both ends to win a championship.

He has a few times, but he's gotta put more pressure on the refs to make a call.

Totally plausible! Harden is thinking about strippers out there on the court! You're a genius!

That makes sense I think. With a stripper you are not allowed to take it to the hole.

If that's the case I hope he doesn't wait until he's 28 to grow up. Because by then Dwight will be 32... if he doesn't get fed up and leave the Rockets.

Like most people on here would say if it was Lin, it doesn't matter what you did in the regular season if you decide to not show up in the playoffs.

He is not a leader yet, and needs someone he respects to hold him accountable.

That may be a reason but it is certainly not an excuse. I doubt it though. He has just been sucking plain and simple. If it true that he just doesn't care, then we are doomed.

Haha. Even with a chest contusion.

Harden sucks (and shows NO effort on D) = "he's only 24 and earned his paycheck in the regular season"

    Lin sucks = "He's a d-league scrub"

Harden better show up in game 3. His reputation is on the line.

Harden needs to roam without the ball. Like the Detroit game when he first got here.

Most of you will change your tone after game 3 and jump right back on the bandwagon. Rockets in 6.

I would love to see us start lin over this bum and at least get some defensive presence on the court. Put harden in his place lol and maybe actually win a game

Lets not forget that Harden played like hot garbage against OKC in last years 1st rd matchup but came to life to extend the series to 6

Well Lins a better scorer so he we have higher expectations. Plus he is known as a solid defender so we get disappointed when he gets burned whereas with harden you never expected him to play defense/ understand how to operate within an offense at an nba level.

Forget this year guys. Maybe next year.
