    Blinebury is a weirdo.

But Harden really pissed me off tonight. Not because he missed shots. But because he gave up and didn't go back. Parsons bailed him out twice with steals.

Harden needs to be held accountable. Either he plays defense and plays smart, or he sits.

As much as JVG ball drove me nuts sometimes, I think Harden would need someone like JVG to teach him some things.

    This is 100 percent correct.

A lot of our good looks from three come in transition or semi transition. Without the ability to get a stop, forget about those looks. Everything is contested right now because A. we're not getting stops and B. We're way too predictable in half court.

You think I sat through that shi**ty ass bootleg stream for this?

But admit it will feel better than it would have if we win this series. hate to say it but you know it to be true. but yeah if we lose the series yeah.

    NO PAIN NO GAIN

This is so true. And it should be obvious.

When Harden isn't scoring he's a liability out there because he sure as hell doesn't play defense.

When you go 14-47 your teammates have to make every shot just so you can stay in the game.

I too share your frustration. This game has been on my mind for the last three days and i did whatever i could to keep it off my mind today so the day would not go by so slowly. There was nothing worse than waiting all day for game 1 only to watch 4 hours of deflating basketball.

But i understand to well what it means to be down 2-0 with 3 more away games. Lets be honest. Portland is going to be loud during game three and i dont see us coming out and pulling the upset, let alone twice.

We have to avoid going down 3-0
Then we have to avoid 3-1
Then we have to win 2/3 with two games in houston where portland has no problem winning in. The series is over in my eyes.

Not even going to try to sugar coat Hardens crap performance in this series so far, but something tells me this is going to be one of those threads that is bumped down the road making a lot of people's knee jerk posts look stupid.

Yeah, I'm not really optimistic. I wish I could adopt an "it's just a game" mentality, but I struggle. Way too invested.

It definitely wont be after this series is over. Unless you see the rockets winning 4 of the next 5.

Yes it is, but you'd be surprised at how many on this site still delude themselves.

    I hope so.
The funny thing is that people here seem to think it's a 2 game series.

Lots of haters and bandwagoners on this site. Wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with 80% of you

Everybody is piss3d off right now including the players. Imo we are better than the Blazers and should be up 2-0. I am way out here in New Mexico, have to get up for my safety meeting at 4:30 am. Stayed up to watch my boys in action and we lost because of the reason you stated. I agree we need a coach who will lite fire into their a22es, hold each player accountable and employ a better defensive scheme. I am glad tomorrow will be a Cadillac day. Get up and go to the safety meeting and back to bed. I won't be watching ESPN 1st take tomorrow or any other sports broadcast. Hate losing like this. But just like you I am very optimistic. I believe we will win both games in Portland. Come back here and go up 3-2, lose in Portland and then winning in game 7. Fingers crossed

Yeah Stfu, when your supposed franchise player gives up on the team at home, in the playoffs down 1-0, and just refused to put in any sort of effort like running back on defense after a turnover, he is literally nothing but a stinking pile of shet to the fans.

I don't care who you are, you don't act like you lost the series when your shooting is off, you still play hard instead of jogging up and down uninterested in the game. In that case you should just stay at home.

In fairness, Fran Blinebury *is* a weirdo.

One of the few shots Harden hit all night.

Yes, ppl saying that they will abandon the team because of the past 2 games are knee jerkers, and let's be honest they will be back watching game 3. They are just emotional.

However there is nothing wrong with being a fan and pointing out frustrations of the things we could have done better or making some players accountable (in a non hater way).

I will be watching game 3, as a fan, I will expect a better showing from the players (especially Harden) and also the coach with his in game rotations.
