It's not hate.. it's a fact that he shouldn't be playing in the national basketball association. James Harden on the other hand belongs.

Lin played well. The team was +5 with him on the court in his first stint and it wasn't by accident. He kept balls alive, made plays and got good shots for his teammates. He had 5 points and 2 assists in the 4th quarter and helped give the team a chance to win. He only took 5 shots and was badly underutilized. Had he taken 10-15 shots, the Rockets might've won the game because it would've forced Portland to spread its defense into the mid-range area, which would've yielded more space for Harden to operate.

I hate to break it down for the Clutchfans faithful, but the only way the Rockets have any chance to win this series is if they utilize a PnR offense where Lin and Harden play off of each other. Harden has to get going and Lin is the only guy on the team who can make the game easier for the top scorers. All you have to do is look at the last time Houston beat Portland (a game where Jeremy Lin had 26 points and Harden went for 30+). If Lin had been entrusted with running the offense more, Dwight Howard might not have ever cooled off.

At this point, what does Houston have to lose?

I hope nodody gives them any more bulliten board material this time.

Game one Bev - Portland watches that before the game

Game two Parsons- Again Portland uses this as motivation

agreed great post, i needed a laugh before going to bed. between the loss and then all posts from our friend who has singlehanded blamed the entire loss on lin. there are times i'm hard on lin but tonight isn't one of them. he's still learning and actually this is his 1st true playoff series. bottom line he is a bench player... stars win games one of our stars showed up the other didn't.

What was McHale's adjustment after game 1? Taking turns to ISO harden and Howard . Did we even run one play in the entire game? Where is poise? All I see is got head plays. There is difference between energy and hysteria, and coach is supposed to tell the players that. McHale must go.

Nailed it. I just said the same. I'll take Bev's heart for the entire team.

This team is only going as far as WHO takes them???

We can't win **** when Harden isn't scoring. And when he didn't, NOBODY stepped up except Howard.

No defense, no pick and roll, no win.
You can't just post up all day, Dwight!

Side note, beeeeeauuuutiful playmaking at the end there, Genius Jeremy. Down 3 with 30 seconds and what do you do.? Dribble straight to the free throw line, pick up your dribble, and pivot around cluelessly with a scared look on your face. BB IQ is (negatively) off the charts !

His adjustment was Harden on Lopez instead of Jones on Aldridge. You can't make this stuff up.

There, that is the hate we are talking about. Who are you to decide who should (not) play in NBA?

McHale has been exposed. He went through 82 regular season games without a set rotation, then stubbornly sticks to an 8 man rotation. He thinks they're still playing in the 80s

Harden is going to get killed by the media, the pressure will keep building on him

my concern is at times when lin runs the offense he tends to get squirrely and the offense doesn't always flow or he tends to make me nervous when he has the ball. tonight i didn't get that and he seemed more confident but again he is a bench player at best or a lead player on a bad team when there are no other options.

The best response in the thread.

Kudos to Dwight for trying tonight and playing with some kind of fire.

Harden's performance, on the other hand, is baffling. Maybe Delonte West is sleeping with his mom.

Honestly, all these Lin hating needs to stop. Before Lin dribbled around, Harden had a shot, but decided to pass it to Lin. Also, we were down by 5 at that point I believe.
There is only one word needed for this loss, "Aldridge". Take all your hate on that word if you are Rockets fan.
