ClutchFans Game Thread: Blazers @ Rockets 4/23/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

Terrible and embarrassing effort. Season was on the line and they just didn't give a ****.

McHale needs to go. I don't remember the last time a Rocket team has underachieved like this.

 

I wish I recorded the game. I remember clearly in the 4th quarter when Harden turned it over in crunch time, and instead of hustling back on d, he just stood there with his hands in the air...

THIS IS OUR POSTER BOY? PLEASE... no ****ing heart whatsoever from him tonight. He deserves a verbal beatdown from everyone, especially Dwight.

 

No need to bring up his mother and daughter.
This is just a basketball game.....nothing more.

Death in his family has nothing to do with this lost tonight.

 

Parsons can shoot threes from three spots on the floor. The two corners and at the top. Statistics have shown that he's just garbage from the sides. he's garbage everywhere else. WHY DOES HE NEVER TAKE THE SIDE THREES.

 

You don´t get it, people don´t even want to trade him for a possible ST for Melo and the majority didn´t want Rondo for him...... he is that untouchable.

 

In a perverted way, this has got to be a dream job for capable coaches. There isn't another team that can get more coached up.

 

Because the rockets were suppose to tank.

 

Oh yeah, is he gonna hit the clubs hard tonight! He always leaves without interviews and goes straight to the club after a performance like this. Good to get it out of your system.

Parsons and Lin will be practicing their shots until well past midnight, those nerds!

The loss of Sampson was certainly understated, our team defense has sucked ever since.

 

Game pretty much vindicates what Barkley was saying at half. Howard definitely isn't the type of offensive titan who can consistently carry your attack. Maybe Harden and Parsons would've had better games if they were more involved in the first half.

 

Feelings hurt?

 

he only took 5 shots total, scored all 7 or 8 points in the 4th to keep them in it, was trying to be a difference maker, harden looked like he wanted no part of the playoffs, the sad thing is, the fans wait 82 games and ride an emotional roller coaster only to be let down by this garbage....this game wasn't lost in the last 2min, it was lost in the first 46

 

We should be ashamed. Only redemption is taking 2 in Portland.

 

Yep, and we got a lucky turnover in that possession when LMA couldn't hold onto the ball. I was about to throw my remote at Harden right then.

 

Please switch them right now. At least Thibs will save the series.

 

Harden has quit. Do we have a pacers situation. Did someone bang his his stripper side piece he has on an allowance.

 

Summary of the game:

-Harden played like **** on both ends of the floor
-Howard and Bev stepped up and wasn't enough
-Parsons played an overall bad game, especially on D
-Lin also played an overall bad game and made a critical bad foul at the end
-Mchale had no idea how to stop LMA

Overall, comparing to last game, the Rockets played worse and deserve to lose. We should have won the first game though

 

I wish Mchale would have went to UH and Sampson was the coach of the Rockets
