I thought he was okay during the regular season, but after these past 2 games... he has been truly exposed. Get rid of him for **** sakes. My throat is sore from all the yelling I did.
If we lose that would give the new coach (JVG or GKarl) a couple of years to keep Dwight happy. As he can opt out after the 3rd year with a player option. DD
He looked scared and lost. Even worse than last game. On the other side Stotts looked totally engaged. Forcing his players to give it all every step. The thing is you build that over time. McHale doesn't have that history. The more important the game the more he goes into shutdown. I know it's not fair on McHale because this is a very stressful situation. It's just some people handle it better. McHale freezes up and his brain shutsdown. He doesn't look happy coaching. There are so many other things he does well. Get out of coaching and enjoy the rest of your life.
No more TJones and Garcia! I can't watch Aldridge bully us like that for (at least) 2 more games! Garcia is worthless out there. Put Dmo and Hamiltion in the rotation. There's no way Dmo can be a worse defender than Jones right now!
Maybe. We could look back at this series as a turning point in a good way. Remember, the Clippers had to lose in the 1st round last year despite having home court in order to admit to themselves that Del Negro wasn't the guy and to motivate them to do everything possible to get Doc Rivers to coach their team. Morey better not screw up this hire though. We need a veteran proven head coach to guide this team. No more yes men or "players coaches". This is arguably the most pivotal move he'll ever make as GM(barring a trade or signing of Kevin Love).
I always thought it was the talent of this team that brought the 54 wins and made playoffs last year. Not the coaching. Last year in playoffs I really though Mchale out-coached Scotty Brooks, but this time around Portland HC is clearly playing chess while Mchale is trying to do checkers.
Lord, my comment to your ears... Please let the Rockets hire George Karl so I can start the "fire Karl" thread the second he's hired, and point out how awful he is in the postseason.

All 6 commentators on CSN are questioning the defensive strategy. I knew losing Sampson was going to be big for the playoffs b/c the Rockets looked like trash towards in the end of the regular season.
At the end of the game, McHale subs Lin out for defense... but leaves James Harden in who proceeds to lose Matthews completely.
Houston fans, enjoy this fool's gold. Next season, let us win 60 games in regular season and lose in first round again.

That's a little ironic isn't it, considering that Mchale is a HOFer, you would at least expect him to handle pressure exceedingly better than others. Moreover, his wealth of playoff experiences should have translated into a better ability to man manage and motivate the team.
8 man rotation. Make that 7 considering Garcia played for FOUR F**KING MINUTES. REALLY? 7 players? NO DOUBLE TEAM ON ALDRIDGE? NOT ONE TIME? Kevin Mchale is by far the worst coach coaching in the playoffs right now. His 'coaching' is yelling "Go go go! Get back! Play hard!" The only reasons we got the four seed is based on the talent this team has. McHale has zero to do with it. He is pitiful. I am so sad.
