Who do you see as our 3 of the future?

Ideally, I would love to have a younger Horry type. Someone who can nail 3 bombs left and right, play tight D, and rebound.

Posey isnt someone I want shooting 3's when Yao is doubled.

I havent seen enough of Boki to know what he can do.

I think we need to bring in a vet who knows his role and can flow within whatever new system Larry Brown brings to the table ;)

If you think we should bring in a vet or draft someone, please specify.....

depends on who the coach is. If it is Brown, he might want a point forward, w/ Cat and Steve running around all over the place for open shots. But i like Posey, he plays D and triggers the fast break.
The difference between him and Shandon Anderson is that he can get the rebound and start the break himself since he has the handles. Shandon would run, but w/o the ball and needed an intelligent guard to pass him the ball. We are lacking in that department. :(

No love for Tmo? Assuming he works on his shooting and ball handling, he's every bit as capable as those listed to man the 3 spot. He improved a good deal between his first and second season, hopefully he'll be able to continue that trend.

until we bring in a younger Horry type we could just settle for the real thing. Horry is a free agent and we made a mistake in trading him in the first place. He would bring a veteran presence back to the team and he knows how to win.

Veteran presence to do absolutely nothing? Don't we have enough of them on the team already?

I would really like to see a star 3 or at least a very capable veteran three. Odom, SAR, or a tall 2 like Carter that can swing to the elbow and play 3. I just prefer the angles attacking from the 3 with Yao. I'd move any of our underachievers or wannabe stars for a good 3.

I see nothing wrong with Posey or Boki being our future SF. I'd like to start Posey next year and let Boki get the back up minutes.

Posey and Nachbar will continue to split time hopefully. But in a few years......if Nachbar isn't a bust....I think he will take Posey's starting job and Posey will be a great bench player backing up the 2 and 3.

Terence Morris..........hmm.......just keep him for the minimum.

I just hope we get Posey back.
