We dont need them i game 2. I want them in game 3. We worked all season to earn hca and the nba takes it away in 1 whistle.

If the damn league were fair they'd replay this out before game 2.

1 thing i am certain of. The lower the number on the officials back, the higher i will be pissed off at the end of the game. These are the so called veteran and respected officials in the league they are apologizing for. No excuses. They are admitting their best got it wrong and screwed a team out of hca.

    A Good Move

Actually, I do think it is a good move on the part of the NBA. Bad blood and frustration gets cleared. Its a move in the right direction.

The calls in the final two minutes are crucial and in doing so, the NBA is admitting that refs are human and make mistakes. It does indirectly put pressure on refs to make the right call and Dwight does get a load of awful calls. I understand his frustration through the years.

The refs have a really difficult job and yet they shouldn't be so easy on the whistle. More no calls would have served the purpose of the game better - let the people play basketball for heaven's sake. As long as someone doesn't get a blatant hammer across the wrist/arm etc. then let it go. No calls are sometimes better than bad calls.

Also, I wish the league would let players play defense instead of rewarding players who just stand there and take charges. That is not defense.

A few pointers - while the call would have changed the game, it did show a lot of gaps in our style of play.

We were up 11 points approaching the crunch in the fourth. We should have won this game.

We were up 6 points in overtime. We should have protected our lead.

We have a lot of work to do. GO ROCKETS!!

they admitted the same for clippers game.. thats 2 of 8 games from the weekend. I am sure clips would like that hca back too:

NBA: Refs Missed Foul Call in Warriors-Clippers
LOS ANGELES April 20, 2014 (AP)
    Associated Press
The NBA said referees missed a foul call late in the Warriors' Game 1 win that would have given the Clippers a chance to tie the score.

Los Angeles point guard Chris Paul lost the ball out of bounds with 18.9 seconds left Saturday and Golden State leading 107-105. Rod Thorn, the league's president for basketball operations, said in a statement Sunday that the Warriors' Draymond Green should have been whistled for a foul, which would have given Paul two free throws.

Instead, Golden State got the ball and went on to win 109-105 in Los Angeles to open the first-round playoff series.

Officials reviewed the video after the ball went out of bounds and awarded possession to the Warriors. Thorn said that decision was correct, but the foul was missed moments earlier. Referees are not allowed to check for fouls when they use replay.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers commended the league for admitting the error.

"A mistake happened on their end, but we made our own mistakes," he said Sunday. "We have to take ownership of that."

so 2 out of 8 games they were WRONG and are admitting it.. so 25% of their games results are WRONG just from one weekend. THIS IS SAD.

the fact they are admitting it and not a single change or anything will come from it is the real issue.

No, but the refs sure didn't help. Had the first half been even officiated even remotely well, there's no way we go into the break only up 1. And the foul trouble late with Dwight and Asik may not have been a factor. They didn't decide the outcome of the game, but they sure did guide it toward where it ended up.

If the NBA really wants to make amends, they'll ensure that Scott Foster and Bennett Salvatore are nowhere near another game in this series.

True, but neither did Portland shoot at a high percentage. But when you make a bad call at the end of the game. It denies the players to even have a chance to compete. If it were in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd even early 4th, Houston is totally capable of making a comeback.

Honestly, I was annoyed when that happened, but don't you guys remember a few plays before that? Garcia went to the line for 2 free throws when it should have CLEARLY been a jump ball. That call was laughable, and i would have been PISSED if I was a blazer fan and that's how the team ended up losing.

No big. Only a call that might have reversed the outcome, that's all.

Im sick of this "missed calls" admittance, so what? The game is done b****!!! Feels like adding insult to the injury. Nba better just stay quiet than doing this. Can we, fans rally or do a boycott?

Yes, it is a well known fact that no other team's fans ever complain about the refs. It's quite simply because the refs are out to get us. I'm not sure the reason why. But we will figure it out if we search the Internet long enough. It's a conspiracy of some sort.
