Yeah, I am sure Beverley will be limited. The biggest benefit the Rockets might get from Beverley playing is just the "inspirational" aspect. Show a bit more fight and toughness, like Beverley! ;)

I would recommend he be limited to the bench in a suit until Friday at least. I just don't have a good feeling about this, but I sure hope I'm wrong.

situation definitely not comical and i think out of anyone to be out i hate it's bev who is injured we've really come to depend on him.

the duct tape comment.... i know duct tape can fix anything but for some reason i can picture bev trying to play using it if it could help him get out on the court...

This is the best news in an otherwise chappy morning. Wolverine lives on.

If he can play, then he should play. Can't afford to rest him one game just to play it safe. Now is not the time for that, it's the playoffs.

Not referring to you. :) But yeah, Lillard played a very solid game. Don't like him, but no denying that.

ETA: If there's anything that points to Bev being overhyped as a Lillard-stopper (slower-down-er?), I'd say it's the fact that Lillard only had 1 turnover. Don't expect anybody to stop him from scoring, but Bev's greatest strength on him in regular season was his ability to coax him into turnovers. Lillard was pretty poised last night.

I agree. The key word in Woj's tweet was "new". That means the knee is still damaged and Houston isn't in a must win situation yet. Why take the risk, give him the max amount of time to heal while missing the least amount of games. Hopefully is Wolverine healing ability will get him back to full health after 4 days of rest.

So glad the knee gets a full two days between games. Worry that he's playing with fire for a worse injury, but i'm no doctor, and we definitely need him.

Largely due to foul trouble and his injury at the end.

But anyway, good to know he is OK.
