We can recover from this loss but not this. I hope Beverly will be fine Monday.

Here is how you beat houston. Put their starters in foul trouble and they will be scared to play defense all game. Mchale will never take out his starters for a d league player like omer aisk.

This is just dumb. You're acting like we're a championship caliber team that's not playing up to potential because of our offensive scheme. In case you haven't checked the standings, we had the SAME RECORD as Portland. Losing a game to them shouldn't be considered a surprise.

Our "undoing" this year is simply not having enough talent. Morey's done an incredible job acquiring an all-star per year in the last 2 seasons and he could very well make it #3 in the off-season.

he still needs his minutes limited... think he'll be fine since he stayed in the game.. but you never know. pray for him. McHale needs to add another player to the rotation. Please be Daniels.

I LOVE G.O.T. and I swear I don't want to watch it because I'm in a bad mood. You'd think you would watch a show you love when in a bad mood so you could lift your spirits, but I'm so friggin' bummed its like I just don't want to be happy for a while. lol. dammit.

Missed the game - just watched some Lin highlights - have to say I like the aggressiveness and the swagger - If he keeps it up and Harden and Howard play anywhere near their potential, I still think the Rox win this series. Concerned about Bev though - I don't want to be forced to have a Canaan sighting in this series.

I'm ****ing pissed!!!!! Screw these BS refs!!! Screw that backwater city of Portland that shouldn't even have an NBA team. Screw them all!!!

Go Rockets. I hope our team has a nasty taste in their mouth for the next two days and comes out and destroys the Blazers over the next 4 games, winning the series in a rout, 4-1..

Lin did a great job on both ends as a bench player/4th offense option on this team. Looking back any missed shot or mistake could have costed the game but it is stupid to blame on him.

You need to stop the hating. That foul on Lillard didn't matter because he missed the free throw. Lin was decent tonight.

The big factor right now is Patrick Beverley's health. He is an impact player, especially because he is the only really good guard defender on a team full of offensive perimeter guys.

Only one game. Relax guys. One thing is certain, our offense other than spread it out and the ball guard attack or pick n roll, is non existent. U have to earn a win. Portland executed down the stretch. Can't blame the refs. The ball stopped moving.

if Bev is out, and I doubt mchale will do this.. but they need to start Daniels and let Harden play point... Lin off the bench after like 6 minutes.

Did you forget Lin scored at least 7 of our points in OT?

Dwight doesn't sound very sad after the loss.. He isn't holding his head, nothing wavering in his voice. not even blaming the refs. This press conference actually gives me more confidence in the next game. Took a lot of blame too.

This is really getting my hopes up.

Morey needs to come up with a bench for this team. Other than Lin and a few moments with Asik, who did the Rockets have off the bench tonight who played well? Shoot, who did they have off the bench tonight who played PERIOD?! If the Rockets had some quality guys who could spot the starters, that 10-13 point lead would've ballooned to at least 16-18 and then we're not even talking about the Hack-a-Dwight strategery.

Also, they have to start playing better team defense. It's too late to institute that now obviously. But if they lose this series, whomever they hire to coach next season has got to make that priority #1. You cannot win a title by just outscoring the opponent. If you don't believe me, just ask the Phoenix Suns who have zero championships or the Golden State Warriors who haven't won one since 1975.
