ClutchFans Game Thread: Blazers @ Rockets 4/20/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 1)

I am not sure the Rockets have enough to beat this team in a series...winning in Portland is not going to be easy.

Heck winning game 2 is not easy.

I don't know how to feel after this game. Very disappointing but sooo much didn't go well for the Rox this game so they didn't really deserve to win.

 

So many random things that could have changed the outcome. Nature of these close games.

The team went rather heavy on the iso-Harden toward the end of overtime when other options might have been explored. But then again, Harden has come through in those clutch iso situations many times so it's not exactly crazy to go to him.

 

Worst play of the season that quick harden 3 with 16 sec left in the game. Why not take the last shot there?

 

I have no idea what McHale called for the offense and defense in the last few minutes. I don't think he knows either. Harden has to take a little blame for this too.

Props to LMA who went berserker like a truck.

Refs sucked so bad but I think it was a wash for both teams.

 

I REMEMBER ARGUING WITH IDIOTS THAT I WANTE DNO PART OF ALDRIDGE AND LILLARD. I CALLED ALDRIDGE THE BESTOFFENSIVE POST PLAYER AND PF IN THE GAME.


Sigh, i am scared of losing every game we play in portland. We received no hca tonight.

The problem with rox fans is when we get any calls they feel like the refs are giving them the game. Things like the moving screen on aldridge 50 feet away from the basket is not favoring us, but calling what they have to call. It is the same call that took asik and howard out of the game and ruined our pick and roll offense.

 

I hope the rockets come out pissed the next game, that last call on howard tho, ****ing horrible!!!

 

Would have won if Lin made all his shots so it's still his fault.

 

LMA had a record breaking game. Lillard was on. Howard and Harden came out of the gate slow. The Rockets fought really hard down the stretch. They almost came up with the win. It's just one loss.

 

how do you let someone go off for 48?????

 

Harden just froze. Why didnt he try to create contact it was there

 

This loss 90% on McHale not making a move to stop Hacka Howard earlier, and the other 10% on Harden and Howard for choking on a couple of FTs that would have sealed the deal before OT.

Sorry, but I don't think we win this series if they can't figure out a way to stop LMA and with McHale as coach we are a ta decided disadvantage.

 

When you're down by 1 pts...why the **** YOou go for 3 Harden...nobody can stop you from penetrating. So stupid. I said it before and i'll it again..this is if they ever lose...it's because of stupidity, not talents.

 

mchale stops executing and it becomes Harden ISO. we were leading until that stupid HACKAHOWARD crap. can the NBA get rid of this nonsense?
