Yao said it was a shock to him. He loves Rudy T. But he understands it is a business decision. Rockets owner abnd management team obviously has their own opinion.

Zhang Mingji, Yao's agent, made comments in numerous occascions, "Yao's rookie season success has a lot to do with Rudy T."
